Inaminute - I'd email Avon if you haven't already about that face cream - it could be a faulty batch or maybe you're just sensitive to the ingredients, I know mil has difficulty with some of the face creams.
Will update the links this weekend when I get chance - had a busy week so far, signed 2 new ladies, and it's my delivery week, and another lady to sign tomorrow so it's been a good but busy Avon week so far!
Hope if you went yesterday you had a good time - what did the rest of us miss? XAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

Sorry I've been AWOL for a while - had inlaws staying with us for 3 weeks (not a good thing!) and it's all been a little nuts!
Not having a great time with Avon at the moment... My territory is still crap - I have a huge road with 80+ houses... I have 2 customers with orders so far totalling about £10 over 3 camps... 2 small roads with 2 customers on each doing reasonable and a 4th medium road with 1 order of £20 in 5 camps...
This week I finally found out why the main road has been so rubbish and why I never get my books back despite polite reminders... apparently there is a rep who's been doing that road for 20 odd years and her regulars (apparently there are a lot!) all threw out my books because they were so angry with me trying to poach on her turf! So despite a polite notice on the front of my books which say if you already have a rep please accept my appologies and if you could put your house numebr and road on the book I will make sure you're not disturbed again - they just binned all my books and bags!!!
Not having great luck on the SL side eitherHave 6 reps (alledgedly) - one hasn't paid her bill, one never ordered, 1 hasn't ordered this campaign, 2 new ones and 1 new one should have put her order in yesterday and didn't and all 4 that aren't brand new are not picking up their phones, answering texts or emails... I feel like screaming...

Unfortunately as you've already found sl can be a lot of hassle - I have a rep who has missed the last 2 orders, won't get in touch, and yet she was a customer on OH territory - so she knew me before and knows she only has to say she's changed her mind. And yet she won't even though she's accepted me on Facebook lol. The only thing I can say is we all get awkward ones who won't say they've changed their mind and won't pay their bill, you're not alone in that, just focus on the positives - the good reps you have/will find, and that you're going into this with your eyes open to the hassles, but carry on regardless as you'll find some lovely people & reps who make it worthwhile.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

I'm fed up this morning - a few campaigns ago I was given a new road to canvass. It's a huge road with around 200 houses, but because I don't order loads of books I've been doing it a bit at a time, anyway out of all these houses I've managed to get a grand total of 5 customers, and two people that have said not this time but keep coming. And out of those customers I have one that's really unreliable - never leaves her book out and have to chase her about to deliver, and another that's a really sweet old lady who said 'I only like the lipsticks - my last one lasted 8 years ' so I don't think she'll be ordering very often:rotfl:
I just don't think it's a very 'Avon Friendly' street and feel as though I'm wasting my time - but I had to natter my upline about getting more territory so I feel as though if I give it up she won't give me anything else.
But I went out collecting books yesterday and picked up an order BUT it has no details on it. No name, address, nothing - so I've been out picking up the stragglers this morning and knocked on a couple of doors where I know they do read the book but nothing - It's for £32 as well.
Sorry for the long post but any ideas are very welcome!!0 -
Oh and then while posting a book a man came running out after me giving it the full 'I don't want it' rant, while I just carried on smiling politely and saying 'Not a problem, thanks for telling me'
Think there must be something wrong with me because it always makes me giggle that people can get so wound up by a book coming through the door that they feel the need to charge out of their houses waving it in the air.0 -
Well, what a rubbish campaign 7 is turning out to be. Hardly any of my regulars have ordered!! Think I am just gonna scrape HOV this time (last camp got £560!). Not sold one of the Anew Starter Kits, even though I did a special reps offer on them (spend £10 throughout the brochure and get the kit for just £8). Is everyone else finding similar?Everyone loves a bargain :beer:0

Ahh! Made a mistake about the Roxy Purse!
I forgot it's probably a fixed discount item so will be more expensive than I said after discount. This will still take it to around the demo price I should think, so the same rule still applies about checking whether demos really are that cheap.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

No address on form - since you've already gone to the most likely suspects it's a case of printing out some notes and asking people to contact you. Maybe mention the total and one or all of the products (unless there are some more personal items on there) so people can recognise their order?
C7 is carp - yes my order's lower this time. Sold 3 Anew kits - 2 to someone who already uses Anew. No free make-up item takers. I bought some stock for a yard sale and was comparing prices. C6 had by far more items at their cheapest (out of C6, C7 and C8).I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. I know hindsight is a wonderful thing but I always put house number on order form and do you want one/not want one/ got a rep insert as I have a tendancy to just throw them all in a bag and sort when I get home. This is cos I also had an order years ago with no house number on... never did find out whose it was although I ordered it in anyway.
Also, some of my regulars don't write their details any more so saves me guessing (and also saves me mixing up my current and back order customers). Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
