I was just catching up on the thread, I've not had internet for a couple of days. I though it was just my c7 that was going rubbish now I'm starting to think it must just be a rubbish bookSealed pot challenge 18750

I'm only at around £50 up to now, but I've yet to pick books up from my regulars. Picking up on Saturday, so I'll know then. But tbh I'm not holding out much hope as my last campaign was great compared to my usual figures.0

Hi all, quick question - got a return already lol! only my first day of delivery.... it's the panel slouch bag for £8.
question is - I am guessing I would only have to pay Avon £6 if I decided to keep this? I am considering it you see but I have really resisted so far in the urge to spend what commission I have earned on buying back Avon things ha ha! I am sooo tempted to just keep it and it is partly to save myself the hassle of doing a return already! how difficult are returns to deal with?BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -
Returns are easy-peasy!!
All you need to do is fill in the form on-line, pack the item up with a copy of the form, hand to the driver and get him to sign your piece of paper. Avon credit your cost price back to your account. So if you decided to keep it you'd only be paying the £6 (brochure price - 20% or 25%)0 -
me again! just wondered what sort of free gifts you have offered? was thinking of offering a free gift for orders over £15 but not sure what exactly.... maybe a lip gloss or hand cream? was going to order from the HT clearance section but what happens if the free gifts don't come because they are out of stock? Thank you for any advice....BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0

Wow! It's really quiet on here the last few days! We were sliding off the front page there. Have some orders for Fit Flops, and an anew kit but nothing else yet. My lot do like to order at the last minute though!
The bubble bath offer is fab and have been pointing it out, so hopefully it'll encourage them to read, and orderStill looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -
Best bet is to order too many, and order a few different items. I'd stick to ordering from the brochure - partly as I find it hard to get clearance items, but also then if your customers like them they order them in the future from the books. With your discount it won't cost too much.
I tend to stick to giving toiletries - shower gels, hand creams, soap and the bubble baths make really good gifts too as they look impressive.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

I don't use clearance for gifts either. I think by using things that are going to be in future books you are increasing your chances of getting your customers to buy something new. I am influenced by what they buy, and what I know about them. It has been working ok so far, and almost all have thanked me for the gift and commented on it.Still looking for the plot...... thank you....
would you give them a choice of fragrance or just specify the fragrance that is the free gift? and do you think that setting a £15 order limit is too high? sorry for all the questions!

If you're going to be giving perfumes I'd personally set it at £20 and just say theyll get a free perfume that way if you have to give a different perfume it won't matter. Or you could say spend £15 and get 10% off a perfume.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0
