Wow! Perfume! Don't tell my customers :rotfl: I do £15 spend for free gift. Gifts I have used include: Perfect Wear Make-up remover, Dead sea minerals hand cream, sss hand cream, mandarin and kiwi hair yoghurt, shampoo & conditioner, shower gel etc..... I often slip some samples in, if they have spent a lot, or had several lower value orders. Hope this is useful to someone and I'm not just waffling away!Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0

Do you find it does encourage people to order more missminx? I was only going to offer a free body spray but I am not sure if asking too much for them to spend really!
if I had done this last campaign, half of my customers would have got the gift so I think I might try it...BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -

I know the ones who get it appreciate it, so I am going to stick with that. How much lower are your other customers orders at the moment? You could always do a loyalty scheme for small spenders? Print yourself small slips / cards with empty circles / boxes and sign it off for each time they spend £5 / £10 whatever you choose. When they fill the card they get a gift? Make the most of creative ordering and you will end up with things like mascaras for free or small amounts of money that make a worthwhile gift.Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -
I really need to do more with my avon.
So will try to read this thread and work harder on my sales.0 -
me again! just wondered what sort of free gifts you have offered? was thinking of offering a free gift for orders over £15 but not sure what exactly.... maybe a lip gloss or hand cream? was going to order from the HT clearance section but what happens if the free gifts don't come because they are out of stock? Thank you for any advice....
I've been stocking up on the SSS stuff, was on offer 5 for £5 and I love the stuff so have been giving that away. My customers only ever get the stuff I like as a gift
I also give them senses shower gels and the linen sprays make good gifts too - I never used to get any orders for linen sprays but giving them away seems to have encouraged my customers and quite a few buy them now.0 -
thank you....
would you give them a choice of fragrance or just specify the fragrance that is the free gift? and do you think that setting a £15 order limit is too high? sorry for all the questions!
I don't give them a choice - Just print on my slips 'Free gift with orders over £x'
On my first campaign I did free gift with orders over £15, but not many took me up on it. I had quite a few order for just under £15 - which surprised me as for the extra couple of quid I'd have gone for the free giftObviously my customers aren't as daft as me

I'm so upset. About 10 products didn't come with my order yesterday
and with they sent me just one of a product instead of the two I ordered, whats the point in that? I'm going to look really bad to the customer who will not have 90% of her order and it's the one whom I had to go back an order a foundation for cos I forgot it off the order! I have emailed her and haven't heard back yet but I did knock when I was round her way but no answer, I am going to offer her a free product for the inconvience.
I also got an email from my ASM who says we must ALL recanvas now no matter what camp we are on. Trouble is I didn't order as many C7s but have loads of C8s, shall I just recanvas with the 10C5s and 10C6s (informing the C5 people that they cannot order from that book but to show them what Avon has on offer and should they want another book to tick the box on the covering note I am planning to do.) I wasn't planning to recanvas until May but was informed in the email that we must or our part of our territory would be passed onto reps wanting to achieve presidents club.
So the next week I will be running round like a blue bottomed thingy trying to get books out and back in again!Squirrelling away in September No 33It's not about the money, it's about financial freedom, being in control of it and living in the natural world and not a material world0 -
