I've just been really busy lately things are going well avon wise and seen my family more than normal which has been lovely. Getting my c7 books in this morning with Oh so will find out how we've done this time.
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A

I'm keeping track of my hours doing Avon across C7 - already I'm starting to think I should just do one collection attempt and leave it at that. Chasing stragglers (even the once) is time-consuming. I do super-obvious notes so no-one could claim they don't know when collection day is.

I also made a super-obvious form, just "yes" or "no" to more brochures. Over half still didn't fill it out.

Tried several times to collect a book from a local business, gave my contact details in the end because the books weren't there but apparently at least one of them had an order. No contact at all. I've only ever had 1 person get in touch when I've given that option, and they were a regular customer before that.

Had 4 customers not in last night - 1 was someone who's really reliable. 3 new customers due to deliver to last night and all 3 weren't in. They got notes in advance saying when I'd be coming.

I'm still enjoying it and won't be quitting - will even ask for a bit more territory - but seriously thinking about getting stricter (I think I'm pretty firm but fair at the moment) because I'm really starting to notice the time taken up travelling about - even in one corner of a village.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

I'm starting this from now on, If books aren't left out for me I'm just going to leave a note saying if you want to order anything contact me by x.

I think if people want to order they will leave the book out for you. I know I'll lose a lot more books this way but most of them will be back order books anyway so I'd rather save my time.

Exactly. I hardly ever get orders from stragglers - so on that second attempt I'm only collecting books back in or having to drop in notes to contact me because the book's still not out - and then never getting contacted! :D

My plan's to order enough books for everyone so I can do 1 big collection each campaign. I'll make an exception for the houses immediately around me because it would take about 10 mins to do them - we're terraces all close together.

the other - her husband told her to curtail her spending.

I hate it when that happens

Had C7 delivery yesterday, got a free Spectralash mascara from the lippy sample promo. Also got free hair colour :j which I think was from the questionnaire.

Need to get orders out later today but going to MIL's soon and haven't sorted brochures yet

Had a quick shufti through C9 and not particularly inspired, don't seem to be too many cheap offers although it was 2am so might have missed some.

    Onwards and upwards, girls...(and boys)

Apologies if you've discussed this already, but we're obviously going to get a new website and the following blurb is under 'news' on Avon homepage. I've not really taken in how it'll affect us but am concerned that 'view descriptions' is going. I really rely on that to double check my order. More work! What do you make of this 'improved website'?

    eSales Suite is coming soon!
Coming soon … a new improved website, referred to as the eSales Suite. It is the one stop shop for you to conduct your Avon business online.

You all received a flyer in your Campaign 7 (Campaign 9 for Trendsetters) order giving you a sneak preview of what the new site looks like and some of the new functionality. Now here is a bit more detail for you.

    So what is new?
The whole website has had a face lift, but maintains the familiar look you all know. The navigation bar at the top remains the same and if you wish to place your order as you always have done then you can click on 'place an order' and the red 'start my order' button.

    Fast Order
In this section you can order items just by entering product numbers and quantities. There is no search or view description facility. Great news – there is no need to use the tab key to move to the next line, just press enter! Please be sure to check your items descriptions at some point to ensure you have entered the correct products.

    Favourites
This section offers two categories – most often ordered and favourites. The most often ordered section will be automatically populated with the products you have ordered most frequently. You can add the items you never want to miss to your favourites section. This gives you the opportunity to add them to your order at the click of a button, instead of having to find the line number in brochure. Remember that product numbers do change from time to time, so please be sure to check the descriptions when adding items to your order from this section.

    Promotion
Click on promotions to get a selection of the offers available in the current campaign. The page shows offers at discounted prices, like 'buy 5 for £5', and special offers such as 'buy one get one free'.As you move through the order process you will be alerted when you have part qualified for an offer. This will give you the opportunity to purchase products and buy into the full offer before submitting your order to Avon.

    'My customers'
This allows you to save and manage your customer contact details along with additional information such as their favourite products etc. It's a useful tool to help you provide personal service and alert your customers to offers and products that will interest them.

    Account overview
When you click on view order you can split the full order by customer. This will help when your delivery arrives and you are making up your individual customer orders.

Step-by-step training videos and some Q&A documents will be available on your current website, week commencing Monday 11th April, to help you familiarise yourself with the new screens. We would encourage you to take the opportunity to view these before the eSales Suite goes live so there is no impact to your Avon business.

I only just checked my Avon email, and I had a message yesterday afternoon to say that I won a spa day for two in the moisture seduction competition!! :)
However, I can no longer find info about the competition and I am supposed to say which spa I want to go to, and I would imagine it tells you what's included etc. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???

New website news looks good, like it all except the view description bit disappearing!! Grrr - 'mare. Sounds like it will be a lot better in other ways though, will have to see if it is more work in the end.

Cannot believe none of you have any gossip about the Believe World Tour day!!! So? Any exciting news?

Yes think we are all losing enthusiasm a bit. I suspect the drop in sales over Christmas didn't help (we all probably felt we were working for nothing), but the light nights might pick us up a bit and get us out recanvassing. If it ever stops raining (or looking like its about to rain) in April, that is .....

I have ordered far too much for myself from C7 I can see my credits being a bit more this time when I kick myself back into the real world!!

Hope everyone is OK, Congrats to chasingsunshine x

Have seen this on website. How will this affect extra orders? Thoughts please people! Are they taking away another of our resources?

From 19th April 2011, you will no longer be able to back-order 3 campaigns online. Currently when you create your order online, you can select to order from the current campaign or the previous campaign. If you choose the previous campaign you are then able to order from one campaign further back. From 19th April, we will be removing this third campaign option.

    Example
    Current process:
In C6 – you can select Campaign 5 from the place an order screen and then choose Campaign 4 from the dropdown on the ordering page.

    New process
In C6 – you can only select Campaign 6 from the place an order screen and then choose Campaign 5 from the drop down on the ordering page. Campaign 4 will not be available.

You must submit any previous campaign orders before 19th April to ensure that these saved orders are not lost.
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???

Well, have to finish off my C7 order by 10pm tonight and it's not looking good. I have one more book to come back from my son's GF and that's my lot.

I am seriously thinking about giving Avon up as the 'earnings' are too unpredictable......

On the plus side, I'm liking the lighter evenings and am wearing my flip flops nearly all the time.
RIP Marmaduke 04.02.11, MIsty 09.06.12 and Rufus 19.7.24 very, very sadly missed xxx
