If it's any help, I used Excel with a new sheet for each campaign (sheet named with campaign number & date of delivery for easy checking after the event).

Each sheet had column headings for door number/address, customer name, amount of campaign order, then 2 narrow columns to tick when packed & delivered, plus a last column for notes.

Amount column totalled at the bottom so I could enter as orders came in & keep a running total of that campaign's orders. The sheet could also be printed out as a check list for deliveries. You could also set it to take off the amount for brochures etc and leave you with a total for earnings. I would have been happy to send you mine, but it obviously contains lots of information about my customers, which I don't feel I should share.

    HTH

Thats fair enough. Thanks though will try and work something out I'm sure.

Hi i'm new to posting and I have been more of a lurker up until now reading as much info as I can about Avon.

I signed up on Tuesday and have been busy prepping my books. I have managed to gain some territory and I thought it would be a good idea to put a short note on the cover introducing myself and telling them I am their new regular avon rep etc. I was wondering whether to also include a short yes/no questionnaire asking if they would like to see a book again if they don't order this time, or if they already got avon via work/friend etc (of course i'm hoping they will all want to order). Do you think this is a good idea or to perhaps put books out at every house for a few campaigns so they see I am going to be regular before I ask them whether they are interested for future brochures ? You all seem so a friendly so I hope you don't mind me asking. I want to make the best start possible :-)

Here's my intro note, sized to fit an A5 sheet. I just got a new area, which is why I've been able to say I'm "established" now. I've also been using this for recanvassing old streets because it's still true (I was allocated the street, just a while ago). I thought the money-back guarantee was good to mention because lots of people aren't aware of this and it gives them confidence to buy. I put in the personal service bit because it's a selling point, but also lets people know how Avon works. If someone else tries to deliver their order left out for me, then something's up.

I’m an established Avon Rep in the area and have been allocated this street as part of my round.

YES – I would like another brochure
    - Every brochure (once every 3 weeks) ____
    - Every other brochure (once every 6 weeks) ____
    - 4 times a year ____
    - 2 times a year ____
    - Just at Christmas ____

There’s no obligation to order every time you see a brochure. I will continue to deliver brochures as frequently as you have requested even if you don’t order anything.

NO - I do not wish to receive another brochure ____

    90-DAY MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE
You can buy Avon products, open them, try them and
return them within 90 days if you’re not happy.

    PERSONAL SERVICE
I will personally co-ordinate brochure delivery, brochure collection, and deliver your order to you.
You’ll deal with the same person, every time.

    Phone E-mail

Brochure collection day is: Sunday (because it's always a Sunday for me - I try to write as little as possible).
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
I am livid at my local "one stop shop" for the council. I have spent a WEEK trying to sort accounts out that they asked for, got a letter dated 18th February yesterday with a form for my employer to fill in and then a letter this morning saying my claim (for housing & council tax benefit) has lapsed! That was the final straw after I couldn't get my figures to send to the council to add up right (Avon's invoice doesn't add up - its got to be something to do with the 3 for £5 etc offers)

So I've just rang up the benefit help line to sort things out and got told to ignore the one stop shop staff :rotfl: :rotfl: Apparently my claim is a mess (their fault) and I shouldn't do anything now until I hear from the "back room staff" :D The lapsed claim is my "4 week run-on" not my current "in work" claim. I liked that man and had we been speaking in person I could have kissed him :o:rotfl::rotfl:Thats a huge weight lifted off my shoulders and now I can concentrate on trying to get my order put in...its going to be along evening since DD will be home in just over an hour :(

Email them and tell them that it isn't your fault. You will most likely find that they send it with your next order as a good will gesture. Hope it didn't affect your commission
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???

Well only got half of my books back so far! still 20 not been put out so I posted notes through them all today asking them to leave them out for me tomorrow morning...

Bit of a question - one woman I collected the book back from says that someone comes and drops a book off to her and her next door neighbour to take their order. Should I report this to my coordinator since officially this lady is now in my territory? I have a feeling I couldn't do much about it but this lady does order so it is a bit galling to think someone else is getting orders from my territory :(

Also I have only had 2 orders out of 20 books so far - not so good I guess but I am prepared to stick with it for a few campaigns and hopefully people will realise I am going to be reliable unlike previous people who have done it.

Hiya, sorry you're having troubles, you could make your SL or ASM aware but tbh nothing can really be done about it, i don't think. Its only the same as them getting their avon "from elsewhere", many people are assigned whole territories that someone else already does and unfortunately, theres no way that they can just take over the territory if it is already being canvasses by someone else.
Stick with it because its taken be about 6 campaigns to start getting orders from some people, theres one lady that waited till my 6th campaign to order and has ordered from every one since. Unfortunatley i have given up now but just keep going and you will reap the rewards xx
