Hi all, this is my second campaign, a potential customer (who was a learning assistant at my daughter's school so I know but know well) was really excited when i put campaign 5 thru her door, she said neither she not her daughters wanted from this book but love avon and couldn;t wait for next book. Went to collect campaign 6 yesterday and she said oh no the girls haven't written out their orders, said i would pop back, she said save you the trouble of bringing baby out one of them would pop it thru my door later...never happened, sent daughter round this morning and just said Miss X really sorry to knock but mummy has to place her avon order today, did you want to order or shall i take book back for you..she replied, oh no girls in bed but are getting up will get them to write it and i will ring mummy...haven't heard from her what would you do...

Well, I would wait tbh. Order doesn't have to be submitted til 10pm does it. So just leave it until you really need to do it, if she is too late then, tell her you will put it through next time for her. You have given her a fair number of chances then, and you don't want to lose the potential customer do you?

As for the SmartStart scheme, you don't receive your freebies with your 5th order because it's linked to your 6th order; you have to reach £148+/HOV in both your 5th and 6th orders to get the vanity bag and samples. Good luck; it's well worth putting the extra effort in for that part of the scheme. :T

aha thanks, yes I was over HOV for this camp then so hopefully if I hit HOV for next camp I will get my gift! dsometimes I can be so dunce!

GRR I hate reterns! Its not like i earn alot anyway! i made a balls up on 1 persons order as thought i had something in stock, and i didnt check, and i didnt so it hadnt got ordered

If you didn't order it what have you got to return? Can you not order it for her next campaign?

hello all my other half has just started avon and is now on her 3rd campaign 1st campaign was rubbish about 3 orders out of 160 houses so i decided to do some research and decided to share with you wot i found out

the book on this link is about avon bubble bath and the famous skin so soft bath oil

i printed off the 3 pages of the skin so soft hints n tips and put them in with the brochures and when we collected all our books we had 35 orders for the miracle skin so soft.

i was reading this thread and found out you can back order and guess wot?? the skin so soft was only £2.50 and in book 5 it was full price at £5.10 so the other half made a nice little earner on that one


best book mark that link and see if they reduce the skin so soft and then wait a campaign the send out flyers and make a killing campaign 8 shes gonna do the bubble bath flyer lol

Wanted to say hi, been reading this thread for a while. Submitted my 4th campaign order yesterday since I started, 2, 3 and 4 I have made HOV, but my first campaign I had less than a week to do it in. I did Avon once before about 9 years ago. Getting some good regular orders, going to be a bit busy for the next 2 months as I have a holiday coming up and some temporary work for the census, so I think I will mainly concentrate on my regular customers for the next 2 campaigns to make sure I give them the best service I can.

Then I may ask for some more territory, I have 2 roads at the moment, one of those has 101 houses in, but there are 7 reps in that road already, so on top of them I have had quite a few people say they already buy from them.

Hi Missminx, just to let you know that my toning slippers have been through my machine about 3 times now and are absolutely fine!! Just pop them into a seperate bag as they do tend to 'clunk' about. I actually haev two pairs, and do the whole 'one on one int he wash thing' but that must be beacuse I ma completely paranoid about haveing smelly slippers!
Have been dong a few events recently, coffee mornings and the like and have my first proper party tonight - hope it goes well as I have put a lot of effort into it. Also have a school fashion show coming up in the next week and hoping it may the chance to pick up some new customers and potential new reps as it is not my DDs school. Wish me luck!
