C6 is looking surprisingly promising at the moment. I'm at just under £100 at the moment with nothing back yet from any of the regulars (they only got their books on Tuesday / wednesday with the orders). I've had two "occasionals" order, plus another two new customers - both from houses where I wouldn't have expected orders! It seems a lot of people on Connects are finding this one pretty good as well so fingers crossed for it to continue that way for all of us.
Oh - I also have (fingers crossed) found a lucrative bit of CO this time:
Customer orders Clinical Eye Lift from C6 @ £13
I order it from C5 - @ £10
Then spot the "Clinical Beauty Treats" Set in C6 Clearance for £10 - the full size eye lift, plus a full size mascara & trial size luminosity cream
THEN with a bit more digging I find the "Clinical Beauty bonus" in HT - a SSS Airbrush spray, a trial size Derma-full and a trial size Thermafirm, plus what looks very much like a full size eye cream! - £4.00!!! Assuming it comes OK, I will hang onto the Airbrush as a freebie, and pass on the two trial size products to my customer as an extra for her to try - might encourage her to buy more Anew!
Newbies - always remember if you have a customer order an Anew eye cream when there are not associated freebies attached to check out clearance for the bonus sets - there's nearly always one or more in there, and more often than not they feature a full size eye cream!
I've done exactly this for a customer of mine but it looks like the Anew set from HT is out of stock and will be sent in due course!! Good job I have an eye lift in stock to give in it's place (like to have one in stock just in case I need it)C1 = £643.17, C2= £60.51, C3 = £376.48, C4 = £331.58, C5 = £422.570 -
Wanted to say hi, been reading this thread for a while. Submitted my 4th campaign order yesterday since I started, 2, 3 and 4 I have made HOV, but my first campaign I had less than a week to do it in. I did Avon once before about 9 years ago. Getting some good regular orders, going to be a bit busy for the next 2 months as I have a holiday coming up and some temporary work for the census, so I think I will mainly concentrate on my regular customers for the next 2 campaigns to make sure I give them the best service I can.
Then I may ask for some more territory, I have 2 roads at the moment, one of those has 101 houses in, but there are 7 reps in that road already, so on top of them I have had quite a few people say they already buy from them.
Look forward to chatting.
Hi cath, welcome to the thread. Would be interesting to know how Avon has changed now to when you used to do it before.... SSS is still going strong and, am guessing, quite a few other products e.g. Faraway. Any hints/tips to impart from your experiences 9 years ago?Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

the ANEW sets for £4 on the back of the HT with the eyelift in have sold out!!!
i ordered 5 and none are coming...... so id order one out the brochure just incase!
I always do - with the Far Away / Far Away Gift set a few weeks back I ordered the standard bottle from the brochure, and the gift set from clearance, just in case one or the other didn't turn up!MarsdenCuckoo wrote: »The Clinical Eye Lift quite often features in HT Clearance but think you may find it's now sold out..... I'm not going to stockpile I don't think - my lot don't generally seem to go mad for Anew so I'm not sure it's worth laying in too much stock of stuff like that regardless of the cost. Even if the £10 one from C6 clearance comes through it will still be a bit of a bargain - an extra £3 made on the customer's order, and an extra two products to boot, which I can use as freebies. Know for a fact that a lady on my team would definitely starve them of the next book i.e. to make them appreciate it more. :rotfl:Seems to work for her; by the time she allows 'unhelpful' customers another book, they're gagging for it! :T
Got to admit I do this too - if they start misbehaving, I'll miss them for a campaign.
I tend to collect mobile phone no's and send round a group msg a couple of days before my order goes in reminding any stragglers who haven't returned their book.0 -
Thanks, NB. Never thought about the mobile/texting route but am on PAYG rather than contract so maybe not a good way for me to go anyway.
Some customers never change though.... last year one lady was the pits to get hold of so I stopped dropping her a book - really was more hassle than it was worth. She 'found' me in a local supermarket last month and was desperate to see an Avon book so I duly delivered her one, she placed a nice order (£40+) but again it was a head-banging exercise to actually get it delivered. After 2 failed attempts we arranged a specific day/time for delivery and even though I could hear the TV blaring away, despite banging on the door until my knuckles were sore and ringing her mobile phone I STILL came away without her coming to the door. The following day she even had the cheek to ask why I hadn't turned up! :mad:Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

NOOOOO! They can't change the formula! I like clinical eye lift! lol The HT ones were bound to sell outSuch a bargain.
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -
Thank you Monaebrook for the slipper info!! Lol I will be putting mine through the wash asap!
My awkward lady is driving me mad! She said she would leave money out for me in a specific place and i could call any day or time. I told her it would be today, and thanked her. So I go today... and it's not there  and she isn't in. Starting to regret his one big time! All for a £6 order, and she isn't interested in seeing a book either, so doubtful future ordersWish I had won £17 million on the lotto!

Such a bargain.
It could just be the normal repackaging/Avon hype to boost sales.... Would be useful to know from an avid user though if they do change the actual product as well as the packagingKeep us informed please.

I'm really lucky with my customers though, the majority are really good - to the extent that if they miss me collecting books they'll fetch it back to me! And when it comes to delivering orders 9 out of 10 times they're in with the money waiting for me. So I really can't complain0

The eye creams my best seller from the Anew range so I hope they don't change it, have been meaning to try it as I figure it must be good judging by the amount I sell compared to the other Anew stuff0
