    oooh,
I have a friend who does ann summers and asked if i would join her to do a girls night party with both of us selling, if that makes sense. I am in dire need of ideas though, never done a party before nevermind sharing one!

depending who your PAYG package is with, you get sims offering unlimited texts (although this has now changed to 3000 or less, check the small print), unlimited calls for £10 per month, etc.

So you could still do this, without it costing you money.

Thanks, am with Tesco at the mo (and Orange but coverage for that is carp round here) - definitely something I need to look at rejigging when I get back from holiday. One of my team members has a mobile including a Tom Tom (deffo need to get more 'with it'). That looked like it could be really useful as I don't have a SatNav and have been all over in the last few weeks recruiting.

There is a party thread on Avon Connects so lots of ideas on there but think joining in with an Ann Summers party would be great. Take your books, order forms, a few Demo products - maybe jewellery and perfumes may be the best ones to concentrate on as they should dovetail nicely with AS. Although, having said that, so would all the body lotions/oils etc. too. ;)

You could do the left/right 'pass the parcel' like game (you wrap a gift, people form a circle and it's passed left or right depending on the 'story' you tell i.e. "Miss Wright was left on her own one day so finally had time to look right through the Avon book that her lovely rep had left her the other day..... etc. etc." Basically, make your own up or I can post up something for you.

Pick a couple of products to 'rave' about; it's infectious.... whatever you like, chances are will turn out to be your best seller. Do a raffle, have a Bargain Box (or two) and at some point you'll need to give them some time/incentive to look through the books so they can place an order..... You could offer a discount for orders placed on the night but presumably you'll also be offering 'a cut' or free product to the hostess so make sure you get your sums right.

Really, just think what you'd be interested in and go from there.

    Hope that helps. Good luck!

Hi ya does anyone know if the minimizer bra is made in a 42D? as a customer really wanted one, BUT couldn't see it listed in that size. (c5 brochure)

Finally got around to delivering to my new streets over yesterday and today, some of the bigger houses seemed really daunting lol, long driveways with fancy cars on em! Looks like i've got 1 or at least 2 customers out of it, but fingers crossed.

I'm with Tesco PAYG too and I used to buy a £2.50 bundle allowing me 50 texts which was more than enough for each campaign (sometimes with some leftover to start the next one. Not too costly, and very useful when it came to arranging deliveries.

If you can run to an iPhone, it has a FREE and excellent satnav app available as well of lots of other goodies - do you have any 'big birthdays' coming up? ;)

PS Orange appears to be 'carp' most places, so I've heard!

I'm with Orange and in my house my signal is rubbish, yet when it does pick up the "orange t-mobile" one its brilliant, so why it cant stay on it i do not know!

Thanks, EB, had noooo idea I even got free texts, doh! Realised it gave me double whatever credit I loaded it with for landlines.... but sure when I get back there's a 'more professional' way for me to go. Really like my mob no. though (by accident - or maybe design? - it's a mixture of all my family's birthdays) so hopefully I'll be able to keep my no. even if/when I change.

Have kept my Orange contract no. going (no monthly fee) because I took up the Avon mobile offer last year. Even that's old fashioned now, I guess, but eons ahead of the Tesco mobie I use most of the time.

Sorry, doesn't look like it. If you're on C5 then you might try HT clearance p 48 and order a 40F Body Illusion Control Bra @ £5.50 + the Bra Converter Pack @ £1.75 same page - both prices nett. OK not perfect (black bra + white extender) but possibly worth a try being that going down a band size and up a cup size can sometimes still be somewhere near.

Good luck with your new streets; can be daunting but gets easier once you see a few 'friendly' faces that  Avon!

I was just wondering how long do you leave the books with people?

I put my books out on a Thursday and ask the customers to leave them out on their step on a Monday morning and I'll go and collect them. But then half of my territory have front gardens & driveways or little entrance porches so its not too much of a problem. I then try and collect the stragglers in that evening after 6pm (so those who work have time to get home and find my calling card ;)). If necessary I call back again on the Tuesday evening to collect the remaining ones. This then allows me to spend Wednesday evening re-prepping them to put out to the next lot of customers.

This works for me as I do voluntary work in a school on a Tuesday/Wednesday and Friday afternoons. My daughter has Brownies on a Tuesday evening and spends Sundays with her dad.

I have one customer who takes the book into work with her and I leave the book with her from delivery until the Monday before the order is due ;) She's gotten me £50 worth of orders each time so far :D

I also leave 2 copies of the book in work in the staffroom for the majority of the campaign ;) It gets me some orders so its worth putting 2 in.

Oh, and as for book numbers, I tried with small numbers, when I received my "free" ones from my ASM (no SL here) but I've decided that ordering 100 books is the way to go for me. I have a lot of terraced roads in my territory with 70+ houses in per road so I need that many to service as many customers in 2 go's as possible! Just realised I have 460 properties in my territory and my ASM asked me if I wanted more when I've only managed to canvass 120 so far
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

    Good luck covering all those.

If you split your customer base into current and back campaign it might help you cut down on the amount of books you need to buy?
