Didn't enjoy packing up deliveries quite as much as I should today because I realised at the beginning the Clearskin pack for £15 from HT was missing (and missing from the invoice completely - checked everywhere).
So I sent an e-mail about that, saying it was definitely saved to my order. It appeared on the page that usually has "view subtotal" (and we all know what happened there!) so maybe that problem was something to do with it? I can't backorder (without doing an additional) it any further so that was my last chance to buy it.
And then I've been re-charged for some things. Noticed when doing the e-mail for that that the other half of the box's contents seem to have gone through fine. I printed out 2 separate returns sheets and they went in the same box with the same barcode.
Clinical bonus packs from HT were sold-out for me as well (mailplan A) so I'll be ordering the slightly different one from HT next time. The credit hadn't been applied to my invoice so I'll be keeping an eye out.
Moneymakers - I ordered the Reese Witherspoon ones in C5, invoiced in C6. Planning to return unsold ones when C9 arrives. I'm used to being able to return things for a while (saw a C17 product pop up last week), but was wondering if it's different with MMs? Don't want to get caught out, that's all.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Did fairly well collecting books back from our new streets today, definately got 2 orders, and some people have filled in the leaflet saying they don't want a book again so that's good, saves me wasting mine & their time. Quite a few not looked at, but as I delivered them 4pm saturday, and collected 4pm today it hasn't given people that long. About 20 not out to go back for tomorrow, so potentially they might have wanted the books for a bit longer. Or chucked them away lol but I live in hope
Had one new customer knock on the window as I was picking the brochure up - I thought, o dear she's telling me to !!!!!! off - but no! She wanted some advice on what face powder and lipstick to order, she showed me the ones she currently had from avon which were 20 years old she said lol. Think I've suggested the best ones for her, and she wants some hand cream next time, she has a sss soft and sensual one which again is really old! Found it fascinating how pretty the packaging used to be, and that sss soft & sensual has been going with the same name for ages! Ended up having a good chat with her - find it interesting learning about peoples history.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
I
it when you come across a customer, who actually encourages you to be a 'proper Avon Lady' i.e. come in, have a chat and what do you think.....?" Always leave them until the end of my rounds so know I have as much time to spare as they'd like. (Have even been offered lunch before now!)
Had a first today though; new customer (lady in her 70's) ended up showing me what a colostomy bag looks like!(That'll teach me to be so nosey but, joking apart, she 'shared' with me some very personal information that not a lot of people know so I feel quite 'honoured' in a way.... )

Am wondering if Avon are restricting the Clearskin offer when/wherever they can? Am PC and tried to back order this Demo set but it still wanted to charge me £15. Did the same to my Associate PC rep too. Hmmm.....
Did read somewhere on the Avon website recently that they really don't like more than one barcode on a box; know people do it but looks like Avon are trying to discourage this (too complicated for their 'monkeys' maybe?)
As for Moneymakers, thought they were charged two campaigns ahead? You can't return them for credit until you've actually been charged for them but guess that's logical. Don't know any other way to get 'caught out' (other than spend the money you collect in rather than put in on one side to pay Avon when it's finally invoiced to you).Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

I ordered these as a Demo set @ £10 and think they look really lovely :j, however, the bar part of the fastening is a bit on the short side so they easily slip off.
Reluctantly, have decided to send mine back and I rang the SL Helpline today to give them some feedback. Seems am not alone, Avon are aware of the problem and hopefully will be doing something about it.
Just thought I'd flag it up to everyone so you can forewarn any potential customers.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Contact your upliner and see if they can help or, ring Fastrack and maybe they can send you some out? If you explain it's an oversight they may waive the delivery charge.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

It's one big road I've been given and the part I've done already is not a very Avon friendly bunch.
Good luck; if it helps (working on a 1:10 success ratio) every time you get a 'No' think of it as getting closer to your next 'Yes'.....Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)
