Thought you meant you hadn't ordered/got any! At least you have them so just a matter of getting to your customers now.....

I thought they hadn't been delivered as well but they had just been hidden and then forgotten about by the time i got home.
  • Am guessing, but it's probably gone the same way as the Lift-It Root Booster that a customer of mine has been wanting now for ages.... Avon used to let us know as/when products were being discontinued but seems that they changed their policy. Keep an eye out in HT clearance for it and/or ask on the Avon Discontinued Thread on FB. There has been a volume and texture cream volumiser in HT clearance (£1) for the last few camps but it's white and my customer reckons she doesn't want that one (although my OH  it).

Thanks MC, i didn't think of looking on there. I checked the list of discontinued stock on the avon website but it only goes back to the last camp. Maybe i can get a few online somewhere so she can stock up. Its annoying when avon do this.

2 sheets in 1 returns box - they both had the same barcode, so it must have been the second sheet they didn't like. I'll try to do it all in one go in future.

Returning MMs - I ordered mine as a backorder in C5, and it looks like they get charged in C6 no matter what. So I'll hold onto them until just after submitting my C9 order, then whatever hasn't sold can go back when the C9 delivery gets here. If customers bought them they'd be covered by the 90-days so I have to be able to return for that reason. Which I will ;) because 2 have been used and the customer didn't like them ;) They don't expect the samples back do they? Not that I'm that fussed about keeping them. Never sold a perfume from a sample. I think they're too fiddly for people.

Clearskin pack - no small-print saying it can't be back-ordered. What you say makes sense, though and I wouldn't be surprised if Avon wanted to restrict backordering packs like these so you don't buy 2 in a row. It's not clear whether "1 per rep" means per campaign, or ever. This is the first time I've ordered it.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Avon do ask you to return the perfume samples too with any money makers. They ask.... but if they get returned or not...

Well of the books i put out over saturday and sunday, I've had a few tick they dont want a book ever, 1 says she only wants them at christmas, and 1 order, a few do order but not this time, LOADS of cards left though so will be out again thursday to see if i can collect these up! Slightly disappointing, but hardly surprising really, Roll on thursday when i collect up books from my regulars!

i, Geek I've done that this time, put 2 forms under 1 barcode cos i dont often do immediate replacements and credits, and wasnt really sure if i'd beable to get both of them done at the same time!

    *update*

Right, had replies to both my queries. I sent them as separate e-mails so they could clearly see 2 different things to deal with.

They're sending out the Clearskin pack and apologised. 5-7 days. I said in my first e-mail that I wasn't prepared to do an additional and pay £2.50 so hopefully this is being sent out with no extra charge (apart from pack itself of course).

    Re-charges sorted out.

I'd heard of some pretty useless replies to e-mail queries, but of the 3 I've done so far I've been happy with the response. :)

This may seem a strange question to ask, But how big are the Avon Rep Bags? Can they fit X amount of books in them at all? or is more for paperwork? eg signing up maternial

Yeah more for just paperwork, you can't fit a decent amount of brochures in, you'd be constantly going back to your car to refill!
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A

When I did territory I took about 50 books out at a time, about 25 in the rep bag & 25 in a Bag for Life so they do hold quite a few as long as you pack it wisely xx
