a bargain and not sure I'd pay £10 for it without the samples.

think this applies to most things in life. I have been trying to sell something on netmums and the woman interested has been texting me asking me for my address. I have said no, will give it to her when she lets me know she is coming to buy. I don't want her to have it and then say I will come on this date, and I say I am out, and then get home to find something has happened to the house... was at home once, when 2 guys broke in...
This happened to me too. I was sitting watching TV and there was a knock on the door. I didn't answer it as i knew there were kids around often playing knock and run. Then i heard a big smash and 3 men came into the flat. They had 2 big crates of beer with them. As soon as they saw me one guy came towards me and pulled his fist back, then his friend said, 'what are you doing', and they all ran out of the flat and down the corridor. They had kicked in the bottom panel of the door and let themselves in. The police werent bothered and said they thought they were just looking for an empty place to sit and drink. Dont worry about me who was then afraid to be in the flat alone for months... Luckily we have moved from the area now but i am always apprehensive about it even now.DFBX2016 #160 - £3550/£8800

WHY was i not told about that
my induction seems completely shocking in comparision to how others have been teaching their new reps! I've seen one on ebay which works out currently at £5, which is why i was asking to begin with! But I have just ordered some avon plastic bags actually, so if they are as strong as you say, I might use 1 or 2 of those!

At the beginning I used to use one of the large plastic Avon carrier bags, which are quite strong (and/or have even lugged an Avon box around) to 'advertise' I was an Avon Lady :rotfl: I now just stick to wearing my Avon T-shirt that I ordered from Vistaprint.0 -

Sorry, CJD - no answer to that other than unfortunately it's a bit of a lottery who you sign up with. Were you signed up by a Sales Leader or direct by your Area Sales Manager?Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Oh, how awful for you. Never had anything as scary as that - luckily. Did once have an irate ex-boyfriend banging on the bedroom window in the middle of the night, trying to get in, when I lived in a ground floor flat and it dawned on me how vulnerable I was. Have never wanted to sleep 'downstairs' since then.my 2nd floor flat with video entry phone (not sure my Avon carrier's that keen when he has to carry everything up two flights of stairs though but he does, bless him! :T )

If you applied online your original enquiry will have gone to your ASM as a Hot Lead and they will have (eventually, it seems, in your case) passed your details down to whoever they wanted to help within their area. Unfortunately, that can work against newbies sometimes.
Long shot but, if you email your ASM offering a bit of feedback (in a 'constructive criticism' rather than complaining way) as to what you now know you should have been offered/told when you were signed up but your experience was (a lot) different and mention specifically the rep bag offer, she may be able to wangle one for you. (If you're really lucky she may even send you some freebies! :j)
PS: Looks like you signed up too early for the extra freebies newbies could apply for too in C15-18 last year (if your upliner passed the details onto you) and carried on, I think, until C4 this year i.e. the 14 day Anew kits available for customers to buy in C7. Nice little extra that one.....:TMake the most of everything in life (especially Avon)
