Never done it but am guessing so, i.e. once it appears as a charge on your new invoice. Hopefully someone else will come along shortly who's got actual experience.

Thanks alot girls re bags for books, I've been using bag for life kind of things at the moment, usually taking out about 30 at a time! I was just thinking the rep bag might look a bit more professional. And at least something that says what I'm doing!

I now recommend to all newbies that they order the rep bag with the special code when they sign up i.e. so they get the free samples and the charge is staggered £5 in your 2nd camp and £5 in your 3rd camp. You only get the opportunity to order it in your first two camps though. Looks the part but I  a bargain and not sure I'd pay £10 for it without the samples.

At the beginning I used to use one of the large plastic Avon carrier bags, which are quite strong (and/or have even lugged an Avon box around) to 'advertise' I was an Avon Lady :rotfl: I now just stick to wearing my Avon T-shirt that I ordered from Vistaprint.

PS: Also never done this but was told about a little tip if you ever need to get a 'held' order released - submit credits to bring your o/s balance below £20 Obviously, it's only a temporary fix being that at some point you will have to either send those goods back and/or be recharged and have to pay for them but thought it might be worth passing on. ;) Life happens and all that.

Hi everyone, on my 4th camp now and already £20 under HOV for this camp and thats just on exsisting customers!
Now a customer called me last night and asked about an eyeshadow she got last time which she loved. It was Arabian Glow, natural shimmer, I couldn't see it in any of the books I currently have but wondered if I could back order it at all?

Can't see a Natural Shimmer but the Shimmering Bronze Multistylo is in C5 @ £5 or there's a similar one in the C6 clearance booklet Sheer Delight, which is the Limited Edition version (silver) @ £2.50

Keep an eye out for it in HT clearance (customers love it if you remember a few weeks/months later that they asked for something but you couldn't get it at that time) but could be that the one she wants has been discontinued - worth asking if she'd like to try either/both of the ones currently available.

Good luck.

Quick ? from me now peeps, a while ago someone mentioned how they'd started to input their order early and then it was wiped off the system by the time the actual order date came round. Am wanting to start putting my next order in early this time (before I go on hol) but my delivery's not due until tomorrow. Am I risking losing the info already 'saved' to my next order?

Have you a special label to use Royal Mail? If not, just wait for your next delivery and the courier will collect your returns (free).

'Pay' to return  goods?? Perish the thought.

Up to you, of course, but whoever signed you up should have told you how to do returns. The information is actually all on your website but I've done some additional notes - email me on avonchris@live.co.uk if you'd like a copy.

Basically, you apply for credits (think on your website it's in a drop down box under 'Place An Order' or 'My Order'), when you've found the item on your invoice you input the no. of items and reason code as to why you're returning it/them, (the system saves each item like it saves your order and quantifies the total amount of credit you're due) make a note of the total amount you're due a credit for* and then submit to Avon. You'll then be directed to a link to print off your Returns Form; complete that, put one in the box, keep one as your receipt (carrier will sign it), put a returns label on the box and seal it up.

* Takes a while for Avon to show the value of your returns so keep a note and deduct that amount from your A/c balance so you never pay for anything unnecessarily.

You do have 36 days from the date you request the credit for the goods to actually arrive back with Avon so plenty of time.

Hope that helps.
