Yes I use flissys, though more for the support and advice than anything else as there's some really experienced sl on there

Lol my sig has gone now too even though it's been fine for months. Like how they've even taken my wedding details off!!!! I understand taking the other bits off but not that!

oo loads of sigs have been taken off, perhaps they are clamping down on avon being in them? counts as advertising perhaps?

Which I could understand had they taken it off months ago, I've posted on other threads on this section before and it's been fine. O well doesn't matter.

Did you have ANY links in your sig at all? Because that's a nono... Mine have been approved by the Forum team and are for debt related charities

And in fairness... I shouldn't have posted to offer to order the bits It's very naughty and against the board rules So it was entirely my own fault

Thanks anyway. No, just had 'Avon Rep & Sales Leader'. Did though post a few times recently leading people back to the other Avon thread on here i.e. 'which is the most popular area?' but surely they can't object to my pointing subscribers to another MSE thread that could be of use to them? Have emailed them again but, as yet, not even an acknowledgement. Got to admit, I MSE but this is really a very bad example of 'moderation' albeit this is supposedly an unmoderated BB so not sure how that works either???? Anyone?

The difference is when it gets brought to the Forum Teams attention for any reason - and when they remove a signature they remove the WHOLE signature... they will not "edit" signatures so the whole lot goes. This is for legal reasons as if they edit they enter a whole new realm of problems with legalities etc....

Rather than call Customer Services you may find it better/easier (certainly cheaper) to just apply for credits/replacements online.

Just apply for whatever you say is missing and/or you need replacing (and make sure it's in your favour..... it always helps to get some 'compensation' for your hassle )

MC - I can't speak for the forum team so I honestly don't know why they removed the sig - but judging by other comments it would seem that they have started clamping down on having the fact you're an Avon rep in your sig removed... I guess it would qualify as advertising... Don't forget it may simply be because they have had to clamp down on ALL people "advertising" as it only takes ONE to say "but you haven't removed signatures where it says "I'm an Avon Rep" etc"...
It's not that YOU have specifically done anything new, but that someone has brought it to their attention and it's been removed as a result...
Don't take it personal They have a finite number of people working on the forums and sometimes things are extreemly busy - they do say they might not respond to queries about having removed things like posts and sigs - it IS a privately owned forum and that means they have the right to do that
Don't get me wrong... I had both posts and sigs removed before I because a BG many years ago now lol in fact I think I had a few debates with the forum team (and have had some after too LOL) - it's honestly nothing personal Just start again but leave out the Avon bit Just to be sure!

The thing I really don't like is the forum part though, there's loads of reps posting things that I really don't think should be seen by customers. But maybe that's just me? Am with you, NB; don't go on there a lot (don't actually have much time at the mo anyway) but I've been getting details of some very infantile (bordering on smutty) posts recently PLUS I'm still a little dubious about the poster who 'growled' at me a short while ago for trying to help. (They posted a comment along the lines that they were glad they didn't live near me.... :eek: ) Am a good person - honest! Least I think I am. (Having said that MSE have banned my signature as well so maybe I really am just a bad person.... )

All her sig said was Avon Sales Leader and Rep, same as others on this thread. It was one colour, no fancy lights, nothing else.

Thanks, A, yes you're totally correct. Am still waiting to hear why my signature has been edited..... Have emailed Admin again and still waiting for the courtesy of a reply.
