I might be wrong, but I think we are the only thread where we actually advertise what we do. I haven't see a signature saying I am a Kleeneze rep or a milkman, etc.
I think someone has taken offence and reported it. At the end of the day it IS Martin's site and he can do what he wants.
Always a fine line when moderating a forum but, having said this, MSE is purportedly unmoderated.....
And, whilst we're at it.... guess whose signature refers to Sainsbury's, Iceland and E-Bay? :rotfl:

I suggest you take this up with forumteam@ moneysavingexpert.com rather than argue the point on the thread as they are the people who can answer your questions.
Thanks, EL, but that's exactly my point..... I have emailed twice now and so far only got a 'pat acknowledgement' to the effect that they rarely respond to queries..... Sorry, don't want to be difficult (and MSE is my favourite forum) BUT - hardly purports professionalism!Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

lol.....:p but I am not advertising that I work at Sainsbury's, Iceland or ebay....lol or the company that we must not talk about.... :rotfl:
MSE is not moderated. They don't have moderators, just Board Guides and the MSE Forum Team.0 -

Hmmmm.... Noo idea what the difference is between a Board Guide and a Moderator/Admin member but guess it's really not important in the scheme of things.
Soooo.... laterally thinking, it would be Ok to have a signature of 'IAvon' and/or 'Avon Rocks' or 'Avon Supporters/Lovers'
Sorry, am being naughty now..... am off to bed. Nt nt everyone.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

lol MC. Love you, you are so pedantic.
there is a big difference between moderators and BG. Am sure someone will come along and tell you, otherwise I can find some interesting reading in the MSE Rules....:p0 -
I applied through the website, which in itself took ages! as it took a couple of weeks before i received a call, she then said id gety another call to arrange when they could come and see me, i was still waiting 2 weeks later so called and complained! was told id be passed to someone else and got a call, but then the original SL that called me called again and arranged an appointment, took about 6 weeks in all! then there were emails back and forth between myself SL and ASM regarding setting up territory! as SL couldnt do it!MarsdenCuckoo wrote: »Good feedback CJD; just wondering, did you apply via Avon's website and/or sign up direct with your (now invisible) SL?0

Just got a letter this morning from Avon - congratulating me 'on achieving five years loyal service with Avon'. Nice to be noticed but a little something to pamper myself with would have been good! Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
If you quote me, don't forget the capital 'M'

I never go on connects. The few times I went on it gave me a headache. Far too busy, bad web design.
As far as I remember, if reps are posting in the reps area, customers cannot see the posts. If they post in the customer area they can.
There was nothing for Reps before connects, there was a forum for Sales Leaders.
This was the part of it I didn't like, when I was signed in as a customer I could see all sorts of stuff posted by reps that would really put me off if I was a customer.
And when I have been signed on as me (a rep) it's never been clear which is the customer area and which is the rep area, although maybe I was missing something?0
