I've had this before, it's possible that they have another rep so have used your form or it's just become seperate from the brochure? But if it's more than half it could be a new rep on your territory? Are any of the books from anyone that's ordered from you in the past that you could ask if they'd made an order this time?

I *think* they've come from people that haven't ordered before, not too sure though as I tend to just collect the books up without looking at them then check them when I get home. Some of them have come from down my street though and I'm pretty confident that if someone else came to them they'd tell them about me, and report back to me.

But I know a few of them came from another street on my territory so I'm hoping they've just forgotten to put them back in - but at least they read the books.
  • Strangely enough this happened to me a couple of times on the last campaign i just finished! I will be keeping an eye on it, as i do know there are others working in the area, and if someone is nicking orders off me id not be impressed!

  • Now I've kinda almost finished recanvassing my territory although i gave back aload of territory just a couple of campaigns ago, I've now asked for some different Territory to canvass. fingers crossed this might work out better then before, and i dont burn myself out taking on too much.

Does anyone have any good tips on canvassing new areas properly? As before i put expired brochures through doors, and not even a sausage of a call for request of new brochure.

Is it best to door knock? I did that on one of the roads i took on last time, as that has got me 3/4 customers on a street of 22 addresses (which i didnt think was too bad going!) So i kept that one lol.

I'm a way off needing to recanvass my area yet, but I've prettuy much made my mind up that when I DO recanvass, I'm going to do it using backorder books, and put a slip in with the usual "I know you/someone at that address has said in the past that you're not interested in Avon, however things change and blah blah...." blurb, but rather than saying call me if you want to get a book in future, I'm going to say that if they want a book, they should leave this one outside for me to collect in the usual way, and if not, just to throw it away. In theory then, I know that any I collect back can be added to the potential customer base...I just wonder if people simply can't be bothered to make the phone call, and that is why no often there is a poor response to the traditional recanvass method?

Also, while I remember, can anyone who has already put in their C5 order confirm whether they know if the ANEW 4 packs of sample for £2 offer is still running? It was advertised in HT a couple of campaigns back, and was still running when I ordered C4....there are a couple more products I'd like to stock up on samples for if it is. :)

  • I might try that next time I recanvass!

But I was on about canvassing NEW arears really, not sure on the best approach.

MC will tell you to door knock. It works for her and she loses less books that way.
  • I was hoping to use last campaigns books when i do canvass a new street, but i've not got the new streets yet, hopefully i wont have too long to wait though.

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
I received 2 phonecalls at 4.30 this afternoon and all I could make out was "Avon credit" and "call us back" I was in the park with mine & Johannes daughters playing so didn't hear it. When I finally decipher enough of the messages to work out who & why I called them back. Turns out I've had to pay £70 to my account to free my order thats been held :mad: An email or a phonecall from someone who spoke English as their primary language would have helped a lot. I opted to pay online as I hadn't activated the debit card which arrived this week for my new bank account which I'm using solely for my avon money :oCan anyone tell me how long until it shows in my account and if it will effect the delivery date please?
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Hi everyone I haven't posted for a while but do try to keep up with the thread - anyway I have just lost my SL who i would normally bounce ideas off so thaught i would see what you guys think.

I was considering putting a voucher out to all of my territory (540 houses) instead of using brochures as i find it hard to pack 500 + brochures.

I was going to do something like:

Avon Team Decadence are covering your area

    10% off Brochure 8

Text your name, house number and street to 07900........ or call 07900........ to receive a brochure and redeem this voucher

    What do you think?

I am trying out the above idea to re-canvass territory i am half way through doing it - i will post results on here.
