One of my customers brought a bottle of Timeless from C18 brochure just before Christmas, she has used almost half a bottle but now the spray has stopped working!
Its no longer showing on my invoices, do you think Avon may replace it as its faulty? Any thoughts ladies....

You can only do a straight replacement online within 1 campaign, which is a nuisance for reasons such as these, so why not order another and then send dodgy one back in its place?0 -

That's interesting - I had a customer give me back a bottle of Outspoken for exchange last night for the same reason! Mind you, I shall be onto a winner with that one as it was £14 when she bought it, but is down to £12 in c5! Was just wondering why you wanted to know how much the lipgloss was? If it was bought within thepast 90 days - the refund period - it will show in your credits area how much she paid when you search for it to apply for credit??
If its past 90 days its out the refund policy and you wont be able to send it back to avon so anything you give her it out your own pocket and what if you give her £5.50 and she only paid £3??
So i would explain the 90 day policy and then offer a gesture of goodwill by offering her 10-15% off her next order - or for her to pick a new gloss at a 25% discount.0 -
Johanne - Its partly my fault I had it hanging around for a while. She didnt want a refund or another just said to take the money off her next order. She missed a couple of campaigns so have only just got round to sorting it. I saw her earlier and when i mentioned it she said she paid about £2.75 for it (before I even mentioned a price) so I of course agreed lol. Yep Im £2.75 out of pocket bu
t it keeps her happy.0 -
ah ok..... if its faulty contact avon and explain... for time of an email they might offer to refund out tjhe 90 days? they can only say no!0

they should if you contact them... although if its same price in current books just re-order and return the faulty one if its within 90 days
I had a bottle of timeless before christmas leak everywhere because there was no sprayer tube in it!!!
i also had a bottle of bond girl forever just stop spraying... and a customer returned a bottle of black suede for same reason. Must be a problem with quality i think0 -

I had a bottle of Bond Girl Forever which didn't spray at all with my first order. Have replaced it and the second one seems fine but I hope it stays that way because it was for the mil and she's already unhappy with the time it took to replace the first one!0 -

Thanks for your suggestions ref the broken spray mechanism on the Timeless Perfume. I have contacted Avon to see if they'll replace it as its definitely faulty but will also put an order in for one too this campaign too just incase they won't. Means I'd be out of pocket for a £1 if I order from C4 but that's better than £5 if I order out C5. Thanks ladies0

Looking for some suggestions for a new reps customer - they really like the discontinued mousse foundation and want to know the best thing to try from the current range? I don't wear much make up so not sure which to suggest, obviously there's the 90day return if it's not right but there's so many foundations it t would be great to narrow it downAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0
