Would love to know the outcome of some of these complaints. No one ever seems to update this thread with the outcome.
  • Actually, they do. The problem is the volume of complaints and the detail often involved, plus the fact that people only end up on here with problems having usually spent forever trying to get them fixed by normal means - so when they do find succes many are more concerned with getting on with their lives than wasting more of it writing about Vodafone.

    My account number is 7015961969

I received a phone call from Vodafone's special customer service team, this time by a lady called Vaishali. She said to me that the only way to resolve my issue is for them to disconnect my number completely and then to reconnect it on a new sim card which I was asked to get from a vodafone shop. I said that I wanted all of this in an email so that if you were to lose my number I could sue you, so she put it in an email and told me that the number would be disconnected over the weekend that just went. Low and behold, my number has still not been disconnected and I still do not have data on my sim card and Vodafone still can't find by number on their system even though they admitted that it is on their network. So it's now been three weeks and Vodafone still haven't been able to give me my PAC code, surely OFCOM can't accept such behaviour, this is clearly unacceptable. I spoke to Steve on their special customer service team and he said that they often tell people something and it doesn't happen, he said that's the norm at Vodafone - it seems like they've had enough of answering customer queries as well.

Not, if anyone from Vodafone is reading this (which I know is the case) then get Vaishali to call me back and give me another update and let me know why my line still hasn't been disconnected so that you can reconnect it again - it's a joke in the first place that you need to disconnect and reconnect a line, it seems like a childish way of doing things.

    Latest update from Vodafone:

    - They said their systems are not completely down and they have admitted on a legal phone recording that they have billed customers incorrectly and that they are tryin to recover backups to try and make this right but it could take months.

    - My PAC is still not available after three weeks because their systems have been down for that long (what a joke)

Does anyone else think that Vodafone is run by a bunch of cowboys. Not only is it the worst company i have ever dealt with, they are liars, thieves and law breakers.

Had an issue with Vodafone which is in a different thread but was directed here by 'Mobile Junkie' and filled the form in on Saturday, received a call from Lee today at 4pm and went through my contract and told me they had tried to cancel every time I phoned CS, so Lee has cancelled the contract and will Check tomorrow as it takes a few hours and ring me to sort out a refund. This has only taken me approx 5 days to get it sorted (hopefully) when going through CS has taken me nearly 5 months. Thank you Lee for a quick response and maybe they need you to run CS.

If you haven't already done so find a post in this thread where it has got the link for vodafones WRT and follow the instructions, it only took me 5days to hopefully getting it sorted where going through CS took nearly 5 months without any luck.

Vodafone have continuously lied to me and I've had enough now - they've even admitted lying to me and I've got an email where they told me my problem would be solved in 48 hours and it's now been three weeks. I have now started harassing these idiots as it seems like this is the on,y way to get through to them - I'll write what I have done one my problem is resolved. It's costing me £40 per day but money is not an issue here. I need my PAC code and Vodafone have lost my number which is unacceptable as they admit it's on their networks but they don't know how to attach it to an account. In case anyone is wondering I'm on a Vodafone SIM card And they can't find my number on their systems yet they charge me line rental and I can make calls from the SIM card using the number I'm trying to take away from Vodafone as they can't turn data on my sim because they have serious systems issues.

Ive tried WRT and I'm dealing with the useless people I the CEOs office - I've had no joy at all and on Friday an Indian lady called viashali lied to me and also wrote a lie to me in an email so I have written proof.
  • Hope someone call help I have an on going issue with Vodafone and I am having awful trouble trying to get answers. Everyone I have spoken to have not helped. I have called emailed and written a letter but got no reply. Can anyone help me with who I should contact? It has got that bad that I am actually thinking of taking legal action.
  • If you read the last two pages of this thread you'd klnow the answer several times over.
