Vodafone complaints

Vodafone do not care about customers or customer services as this thread & many other message boards clearly show.
I really hope any potential customers research the standard of customer care before committing to this mob.0 -
Hi Mobilejunkie
It won't matter it they do, as I won't be keeping this damn phone anyway! lol

Hear hear Leon
All i want is an envelope too!
Who would have thought we'd have to endure all this hassle, just for the sake of wanting an envelope to be sent to us!

xLee. No disrespect to you personally but I don't want anyone "coming back to me" anymore. I've been promised the " We'll come back to you " more times than I care to remember now.
My position is simple. Send the bags and I'll send the phones back. If Vodafone can't or wont then that is up to them. I have given you fair warning.0 -
Same as many people on here - Vodafone cannot find my account or phone number on their system, and many failed promises of having someone call me back 'after 48 hours'. Even the complaints team are equally useless.
I'm still waiting for a refund after money was taken from my account for a cancelled line (which was not supposed to have been debited in the first place) - and spent hours on the phone being passed to incorrect departments and cut off several times. One of the worst companies I have ever had the misfortune to deal with, utterly diabolical."Kids respect landlords. I think it's the keys."0 -
Dezza, I feel your pain, I truly do. You give your account number, they come back at you saying they can't find it and make it feel like it's YOUR fault !
Jesus wept.
What I want to know is Lee the only person that ever gets back to you ? Annoyed as I am at least he did get back to me today and advised that he'd stuck a rocket up the arris of Catherine who was supposed to get back to me last Tuesday. Return bags not mentioned though.
Anyway, no contact until my daughter gets in from school and says Vodafone had been texting her ! I have explained repeatedly that the one working phone I had on my account I had to give to my daughter ?? They obviously have MY number and email address and home address and landline number but chose to use none of them.
Half of the problem with Vodaphone is they do not LISTEN !
Seriously Lee. You seem like one of the good guys but with your hands tied behind your back. You're wasted on Vodafone.0 -
Ok,I concede.Lee called me Thursday and agreed to chase things up.Heard nothing since.
Lee if you read this can you cancel planned upgrade and cancel the phone you can't supply.
Just please return me to how I was a week ago.Ill pay off my contracts and go elsewhere.
Vodafone you are so so ignorant.Sorry Lee.0 -
I too have learned the hard way about Vodafone's so called "Customer Service" (ha!). I recently upgraded to the new iPhone 6, increasing my monthly payments too as a result. I received the lovely shiny new phone on Thursday, but the Sim wasn't activated. I phoned to have it connected. 20 mins-24 hours I was told! Suspicious about the way the agent was acting, I phoned the next day. "There is a problem, but it's been elevated to the Tech Team. Give it a couple of hours". Phoned another twice to check it was on track - "Yes, our tech team are working on it". Still nothing this morning. So, phoned again - "it's got stuck at a certain level. It's been advanced" I was told. "It will be another 24-48 hours. At that point I stopped "understanding" and put in an official complaint! 52 hours I've waited for my phone to be activated! 6 calls, and more minutes holding on they're line with the same 3 songs on a loop than I will ever get back in my life!
I've actually now been told not to phone back in!!
This Sim was meant to be active when I received it!
Oh, they have put a hold on my line rental payment till it gets sorted - doesn't help me just now tho!!
I now have a phone that the good man upstairs himself only knows when will be activated, because the Tech Team and/or Customer Services seem unable to tell me!
Is anyone else having an issue such as this?
Such shocking, shocking services!!0 -
Hi Megs Mum
Just read my previous threads, same problem as you!
It's now 3 weeks later and I'm no further forward.

I read somewhere amongst these post that someone was considering contacting BBC's Watchdog team!
I'd be interested to know what others think about that.
As demonstrated Vodaphone don't place much emphasis on individual customer satisfaction.
But through the media, there's a slight chance that they may take note and address some of the issues.
The only reply I've received to address my problem was from Lee on here!Give a man a gun and he can rob a bank.
Give a man a bank and he can rob everyone!0 -
Another week gone. They were going to get back to me Tuesday, that was LAST Tuesday and still no contact or resolution !
I've got this feeling that they just have more complaints than they know what to do with and I'm on the bottom of some list somewhere.
God help them with Christmas coming up. All those shiny new phones for the kids under the tree that won't work because the account has been set up wrong/your account can't be found/the sim isn't recognised/no service/it'll take 24 hours/choose the excuse of your choice etc etc. I would LOVE to be a fly on the wall in the Vodafone call centre on Christmas day, headless chickens spring to mind.
They might get it sorted out by next Christmas but I somehow have my doubts.0
