Hello,
Having problems with Vodafone. Just upgraded but the phone is corrupting pictures on the SD card.
Don't want another 2 years of their incompetence.
Can't contact them. Their 24hr, 7 days a week chat service has all advisors offline, I've tried 191 numerous times but keep getting through to Jim Henson's Muppets, or I get cut off. I just want to send the phone back under my cancellation agreement but the time I've got through to Vodafone, my 24 month contract will have expired!!!
Please can someone help so I can go somewhere with competence and customer service, and if anyoner can advise which of the mobile phone companies that is, I would appreciate it.0 -
Dear Vodafone
I am having troubling getting my October (current) Bill recalculated to reflect my true usage,
I used VF Euro Traveller during my Holiday end of August to beginning of September. I removed VF Euro Traveller on my return.
All charges appeared normal and I enjoyed 4G in Spain on our holiday.
When I returned, 2 large charges for data appeared.
I have pasted these charges along with calls either side to show I am in the UK.
VF Billing Dept won't accept these charges were not made by me, and won't remove them. How could they be made by me as I was in UK on an unlimited mins, 8 GB data plan and data used after these 2 charges is back to Free on the bill.
I just have my line suspended, so i ring them, un suspend my line and say that "their manager will send an email to the manager dealing with my recalculation". It is all just taking so long. (and not one phone call to me. Every time I have to ring)
I advised VF Billing as soon as they charges appeared, but they would't do anything to remove them when they were unbilled usage, so I had to wait until they were officially "billed usage". Now 14 more days have passed since my bill was generated and still I have this problem hanging over me.
Please return my faith in VF!! (Please Please).
Regards
David

This is a bill overcharge of £89.28 inc VAT
Also, there is an EU rule where max spend is £41.29. I never opted out of this.

Went into a store in Falkirk to buy a pay as you go phone... tills broke just as I put my card in and the store manager told me to buy the phone online as wouldn't work for the rest of the day.... First dealing with Vodafone so thought it was just bad luck.... How wrong!
Sunday: On the chat after a hour finding my details they said I'd have my phone delivered Monday morning so I took a day off work.... LIES
Yesterday: They said they contacted DPD and my package would be delivered this morning so again took time off work to accept the package... LIES
Phoned up: They haven't despatched my phone at all... the other people just lied... waiting for an email/call back from the phone operators manager but not exactly holding my breath!!!!0 -
Gosh, another poor person waiting for the call back which never comes....0

Unfortunately so mobilejunkie... still waiting but at least I had finally got to someone who told me the truth today... only took 4 days0

Contact Lee as he sets out above (Vodafone Rep). At least he cares even if not many others at Vodafone do. Always pointless waiting for the ever-promised call-back from anyone else. Managers' jobs at Vodafone are based on the sole criteria of avoiding customer contact and using subordinates to protect them from having any.0

I am completely fed up with Vodafone. I have been a customer of theirs for about 15 months now, and stupidly agreed to another 12 month sim only contract about 3 months ago.
My bills are wrong, EVERY single month, and have been for the past 7 months, at least. I am supposed to get free spotify as part of my account, but most months I get charged for it, then have to call up and get a manual credit applied to the account.
Its very frustrating, its a business account so I would expect at least some customer service. It creates so much admin for me as I waste 15-20 minutes every month sorting it out, then I have to check it every month, AND I have to explain the whole history each time to whoever I speak to.
This month was the last straw, the last person I spoke to promised me they would fix it for me, I then get this months bill, and not only is it wrong, but also the £10 credit for last months bill being wrong (not a goodwill gesture, just a refund of the £10 I had overpaid) is not on the account, AND I have been charged for 11 days Eurotraveller, when I was only actually abroad for 8 days in total!
This must amount to some kind of breach of contract surely? They are incapable of billing me correctly. I have to sort this mess out every month. I am trying to run a business, and dont have the time to fix their errors for them. Please help!0 -

Are the extra 3 days euro traveller where data from abroad is showing up on the account after you have returned from abroad? i.e. Vodafone are not attributing the abroad data to the days when usage actually occurred, but just charging you another £3 when the data usage finally comes through from the abroad network?
If so, this also seems to be my problem, except when I got home I turned euro traveller off, so didn't get stung with another £3 when the delayed data came through but £89!!!
I can prove I was in uk when the data charges are showing to have occurred.
So frustrating. Fingers crossed Lee can sort for you.0 -
