Hi Lee, done as you asked. WRT135 - MSE [#8337040]
Don't think it's the hardest one to fix as was just after details of when I should expect the phone as the one I'm currently using has a cracked screen.
That said I am obviously quite frustrated at being lied to on at least three occasions (surprisingly I never got the call back or email from a manager that I was promised on the phone). Also I'd like to know what the woman was actually doing when she said she had just been on the phone to the delivery company and that my package was ready to be delivered the next day???

This in my opinion is not an unreasonable request, here is the problem simplified.
My iPhone 5 has a faulty battery. I'd expect this simple job of replacing the battery to be taken care of by Vodafone. Especially as I have a year of my contract left.
As requested by Vodafone, I am not willing to pay £190 for this. You CAN fix this but simply WON'T.

Thank you for your call. I have however checked online and it seems the phone is in stock (has delivery time of 2-4 days) so how can you be unable to give an approximate time frame?
Also i still find it hard to understand how it's impossible for a company the size of Vodafone to be able to give any compensation to pay as you go clients but only to clients on monthly contracts. Surely Vodafone should have better systems than that???0 -

I have had it with Vodafone! I recently upgraded over the phone with customer services and was due to be sent my new phone the following day (Thursday 23/10/14). The system could not locate my work address and so the customer service agent adviced me to pick it up from the nearest store, it which I agreed. The following day I went to pick up my phone at the store only to find out that the store was closed down!!!!!:mad::mad: I rang back customer services to inform them of this. They put me on hold so they contact the courier who advised them that the order had never gone out to delivery in the first place!!!:mad: That afternoon I went to another branch to upgrade in store seen as the order was not put through only to find out that the order had never been placed an so I would not be able to pick up a phone I store. The customer services advisor in store rang the main customer services to arrange delivery the following day (Friday 24/10/14). Vodafone agreed to deliver to my work address ( the same address they origally said they could not find on the system) and that I should call 8am the following day to ensure it was on the delivery van. The following day I rang and they confirmed the phone was due to be delivered and that I would receive an email with the time slot. Later that day I received an email with the delivery address of the shop they origally sent the phone to which I informed them was closed for business!!!!!!
I rang customer and asked to speak to a manger to which the advisor declined. With persistent the advisor agreed to get the manager to call me with the hour Which would have been 12:15pm. At 12:40pm I still had not received a call from Vodafone and decided to call them back. I explained what had happened and spoke to an advisor who said he would put me on hold so that he can try and locate the manager. He then came back on the phone and advised that as a one off the manager has agreed to cancel my order so that I can place an order inshore and receive my phone on the same day. I would need to call back after 3pm to receive a reference code which I would take to the store. I rang back at 4:20pm and was advised by customer services that I will not receive a reference until Monday 27/10/14!!!!!mad::mad::mad: and on top of that I will not receive the discount origally given to me by customer services as the original order was cancelled!!!
I honestly cannot believe how such a massive company has such a terrible system as well as unhelpful staff who provide incorrect information to paying customers. I am so upset at the way this has been handled and the considering how they have given me the run around, sticking the original agreement of a discount is the LEAST Vodafone could do!!0 -
Contact the Web Relations Team (see the numerous previous instructions on previous posts). You're wasting your time going through normal channels with this outfit. Alsways makes me laugh when people believe that a manger is going to call them back; I wonder what planet they're on!0

In my experience, Vodafone are pathetic in their customer service. I thought BT were bad, or some other utility companies that I've had the misfortune to have had to deal with in the past were seriously bad.... BUT... Vodafone are in a class of their own. Really.
When you just cannot imagine it possibly getting any worse, they surprise you again with their endless incompetence and total lack of follow-through service that it makes you want to slit your wrists.
I absolutely rarely complain publicly about anything, but for Vodafone I had to make a special exception. That are THAT BAD!!!0
