  • Lee9027 - leaving Vodafone has not stopped the spam text messages in my case. Vodafone keep sending me messages and I cannot make them stop.

5 months so far to fix this issue and still waiting. I have contacted customer services 10 times so far. I am getting OFCOM involved.

    Good luck!
  • Vodafone Company Representative,

I have already submitted an online form to your WRT165 team via twitter on 29 July 2014.

I will not know if my issue is fixed until 16 August 2014.

No one in Vodafone is willing to investigate why this issue happened in the first place. 5 months to untick a box is pretty poor. You would think leaving the Vodafone network would stop all communications and texts but not the case. Vodafone customer service and systems are not fit for purpose.
  • Still getting spam texts... You can try and leave Vodafone but they will carry on sending you spam. Fix this issue now.

I am not a customer so I do not want to know there was a glitch on MyVodafone.
  • CISAS do except online applications. However you do need to submit evidence separately by email/post within 5 days. I am sending the evidence of my case today.

Lets hope they can do something.

    Tea spiller,

I'm sorry that you're not happy with the replies you received on the eForum from our Community Champions.

    Kind regards,

If I bore witness to the "Community champions" running the eforum/removal of direct email/foreign live chat & inept 191 operators,
I would never willingly gave a single pence to Vodafone as there is no provision of customer care.

In case people do not know these champions have been hand picked to help resolve customer issues on the eforum.

The position is maintained by the thanks system which is manipulated as they vote each other up & have Vodafone employees vote in concert.
The actual community have very little affect on the thanks ratio that maintains these people who should use the platform to champion the community not the Vodafone agenda.

These champions are rewarded with trial of latest devices & other perks, there goes partiality & credibility.

Also if they do not like opinion offered they gang up on members & have them banned from posting - muting the voices that call the spades & give advice that does not favor Vodafone.

I have been watching & noting the sequences of voting & the ridiculous stances that do the customers no benefit.

Ofcom shall be interested in the system that manipulates the actual amount of complaints levied.

Hi I was quoted £170 each for a Samsung Galaxy 4 to buy the phone outright. The store didn't have enough stock so I was told I could buy on line. I kept a copy of the conversation. I was then told the offer was not available on line and to go in store. I went in store and they said categorically NO. Where do I stand with having these conversations and costs confirmed on an online chat and who would it be best to complain to? Any help appreciated as I now have to pay for one daughters phone at £ 170 and the other at £350 :(

    Hi all,

Thanks for your posts over the weekend.

Shopper12345 - So I can chase things up, you'll have a seven digit reference number after the WRT165 code. Please update the thread with this and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Tea spiller - For clarification, The eForum is ran by the Social Media Comms team not the Community Champions.

Members are only banned if they've breached our House Rules after been previously warned.

As stated last week, if you'd like me to take a closer look at how your case was handled on the eForum, please email me with your details.

MissyKay - I've got your emails and will get back to you as soon as possible.

Pinkcat10 - So I can take a closer look at things for you, email me with your details via the link in our profile here.

All you need to do is copy and paste the link into your web browser and it'll take you to the Contact us form on our website. To make sure it reaches me, quote the code WRT135 - MSE in the subject line.

Once sent, you'll receive an automated reply with a reference number. Post back with this and I’ll check I've received it.

    Kind regards,

    Lee

    Hi Lee,

I think you need to be proactive & present to run a forum, Vodafone employees are rarely on & take a entire age to respond to customers if at all, Just send CCs red polos with their gifts or free contracts ;)

Anyone giving proper unbiased advice tend to vanish just ask Ellis how often he capes for CCs.

I do not need a link to a proforma to deal with issues with Vodafone, I cancelled my contract due to lacking customer service & I would advise others to do the same.
