  • No. Would be nice if lazy people actually used what is already provided instead of expecting other people to do it for them though.

I am Not at all reassured everything is being done to resolve the situation as fast as possible.

I have now been without any 4G service at my home for 121 days.

If that is Vodafone doing everything possible I would hate to see your service when you weren't bothering.

All I get is "customer service" reps parroting the same unhelpful phrases.

This is both awful network service and awful customer service.

My advice - avoid Vodafone 4g.

    Hi Tangential,

    I can understand your frustration.

Having checked your thread on our eForum I can see that this has chased up again.

As soon as we have more news we'll post a further update.

    MoscowFlyer,

Thanks for making me aware of your concerns.

So I can get things looked into further, could you email me with your details via the link in our profile here?

All you need to do is copy and paste the link into your web browser and it'll take you to the Contact us form on our website. To make sure it reaches me could you also quote the code WRT135 - MSE in the subject line?

Once sent you'll receive an automated reply with a reference number. So I can make sure I've got it could you update the thread with this and I'll get back to you as soon as possible?

    Kind regards,

    Lee

I deal with both and not sure who'd win that particular contest - though my EE is Orange and I haven't had too many issues with T-Mobile for quite a while (which ain't bad considering I have multiple contracts with them and a MUCH smoother ride than when I had the same with Vodafone). I think Orange and Vodafone are going for gold in the diabolical customer services contest.
  • Hello,

I have been struggling with vodafone for some time now and have had an awful service from there complaints team. In fact I don't think I have ever experienced such an inept and useless, well I was going to say customer service steam but infant every aspect has been hard work including visiting the local store!

In short I was miss advised and am now paying 20% more for my tariff than I am supposed to be paying and now one is prepared to correct this error, further more for some reason I have pretty much lost all signal at my home address for the last 6 months. There answer buy a booster for £100! For that price I might as well buy myself out of my contract and go else where where I can get a signal. And by far and away the best advice I have received to date is is regard to not have any signal at home I was advised that if I switch off 3G I will get a better 2G signal and might get coverage at home. It hen pointed out that I would not be able to get picture messages etc and every time I went out would constantly be having to change backtrack o 3G. I was then advised to leave my phone in 2G all the time and settle for a slower connection speed!!! Well, WHAT EXACTLY AM I PAYING £30 PLUSS PUONDS A MONTH FOR!!

    Unbelievable.........

As for me being misadvised and paying to more than I should be, well my complaint third complaint revealed that they never looked into my ink ail complaint and now it is apparently too let to do anything about it....... How convenient!!

Vodafone state on their complaints site that they are "passionate about good customer service" what a joke

  • Lee that's the point with Vodafone always say if only id known I could have helped after your contract runs out,
whilst in contract couldn't care less believe me I spent 6 months in constant talks with a number of people and got same answer.
However when contract ran out they changed there opinions.
a £50 handset replacement (wrong sim inside when broken I had 2 lines)or discount on my charge while without coverage due to no mast in caterham area for 6 months would have helped.
Instead lost a 7 year customer paying average of £40 a month wow great thinking I am sure you can see that's makes sense.
