Vodafone complaints

Hi Ann S & SnowTiger, thanks for the constructive comments.
I agree that I could split the SMS into smaller 160 characters and that is an option I can consider. My argument is that Vodafone have the technical know how to see what customers are unlimited SMS contracts and set there account accordingly. I am not trying to get something for nothing annd use Whatsapp were I can.
I have a Galaxy S 4 handset and do send SMS to multiple recipients in one go.0 -

Vodafone have really out done their selves this time. They are upgrading their mast(s) by us and so May 1st I was without a signal, this was reported fault and I was told that there was nothing they could do about it until the mast was fixed, however once the mast was up and running I would get a line rental refund.
Well a month passed by and we still did not have a signal which was getting ridiculous as we do not have a landline. About a week later we then got intermittent signal. So you could be in the middle of a phone call, sat in the exact same place and your call would cut out because it would lose the signal, you would then have to wait until the signal decided to come back. Contacted Vodafone again to say that it was still having issues to which they responded with that yes it's a known issue and they are working on it. Two months in we still have intermittent signal, no sign of a refund until they resolve the problem apparently.
I tried to ask if I could be let out of my contract early as I need to be with a company that can offer me a stable signal, they refused and tried to then blame my mobile for the issue. Even though twice I have been through the steps of " fixing my phone" just in case, and both times the issue has come back as definitely the signal/mast issue. My partner also has the same problem with a different hand set and newer sim card etc he has also been told it is the mast problem and not our phones.
Two months without fully operational signal is definitely not good enough! To get a stable signal we have to drive about 10 miles away (where we use a different mast apparently).
No indication as to when the issue may be resolved, no refund until the issue is resolved, not allowed out of my contract and a ten mile drive just to use the basic functionality of my phone.
Been with Vodafone since for ages but I can guarantee that I will not renew my contract with them again.0 -
I use Vodafone PAYG.
I have been getting lots of unwanted text messages from Vodafone. The messages say to text STOP to 9774 to stop these messages.
I have done this on numerous occasions but these messages keep arriving.
I therefore contacted Vodafone to say please stop sending these messages they are an extreme nuisance.
Vodafone have replied to say they won't stop the messages, telling me I have to register for My Vodafone to stop these messages.
I am not going to do this as I expect I will get spam emails to add to the spam texts and clearly I have no confidence that registering for my Vodafone will work given that texting STOP didn't work.
I would advise anyone for whom privacy is important not to use Vodafone. Awful awful company.I came, I saw, I melted0 -

Hi lou1eighty2,
I'm sorry to read about your current experience.
For further help with network related queries I'd recommend following the troubleshooting steps in the Network Issues thread on our eForum.
Although I can't provide you with a link to it due to the posting guidelines which company representatives are obliged to follow, you'll find the thread in the eForum's Network Updates section.
If you come across a thread where your area has already been mentioned could you post a link to the thread so I can chase things up?
If you'd like to discuss your account further could you email me with your details via the link in our profile here?
All you need to do is copy and paste the link into your web browser and it'll take you to the Contact us form on our website. To make sure it reaches me could you also quote the code WRT135 - MSE in the subject line?
Once sent you'll receive an automated reply with a reference number. Could you update the thread with this and I'll get back to you as soon as possible?I use Vodafone PAYG.

Thanks.
That link is the one I used previously to ask Vodafone to stop sending the spam texts, to which the reply from Vodafone was a refusal to do so unless I registered for 'my vodafone'.
I have separately registered a complaint with Vodafone.I came, I saw, I melted0 -

I have separately registered a complaint with Vodafone.
I subsequently got this email message from Vodafone yesterdayI have discussed your case with my manager and we will surely make the necessary changes on your account so that you stop receiving any marketing texts from Vodafone
Vodafone I don't want a new smartphone for £50 I want you to stop spamming me. How difficult is that to understand.
I think they are deliberately doing it now to wind me up.
Awful awful company.
Edit: I've now tried using the webchat to ask vodafone to stop sending me their marketing spam. He said Vodafone would stop sending me marketing messages but I'll just wait and see. If that fails I'll contact Ombudsman Services Communications in just under 8 weeks time.I came, I saw, I melted0 -
