Not at all the direct debit was due the first of the month they were getting took in segments as they hit me with a massive bill know one could explain the charges I went to Greece came back with a £50 bill that's fine I was expecting it 1 month later a £140 bill from Greece but they couldn't explain how they tried to bill me twice... I'm on my phone so abit rises typing sorry.

That easily explained and quite normal. There is always a delay receiving data from a roaming network and the total of your roaming charges would not have come through from the roaming network on your first bill and there would be further charges which would be on your bill one month later.

If you check your bills from your online account, you will be able to see the dates of the roaming charges from Greece, plus any other out of bundle charges.

I mean that all smartphones consume mobile data without asking you. If you don't want to get charged abroad switch the data roaming off.

    Hi JoshBee25,

It’s really disappointing to hear that you had a bad experience which caused you to leave us.

    Hi jazzyjustlaw,

If you have a smartphone, it will use data to automatically update applications unless you switch data off. The daily roaming charge for data in Europe is £2 and will give you up to 25MB to use.

If you need any help, feel free to get in touch with me via the address here with WRT135 FAO Heidi in the subject.

I will be more than happy to answer any queries you may have.

    Kind regards,

    Heidi

I cany wait to be shot of Vodafone.
They lied to me over lenght of contract agreed at 12 months and they insist it was 18 months
They allowed my account to be hacked and have 2 new contracts added changed me £94 to close a contract that expired
I am fed up of hearing that awful bing bong music while on hold for ages and ages
taking 30 minutes to get a puc code

But I dont think any of the cos are customer focused. Orange is a joke but at least you speak to uk call staff rather than jokers in Asia who can bearly speak English

    Seriously ticked off with VF.

I was on the verge of leaving VF (eforum could only offer me the same contract as I was on) when Retentions called and offered me a deal I was happy with. Due to work commitments the delivery was arranged for a week hence so I could arrange time off....
    ...no delivery.
A call to the helpdesk followed. They stated that, not only was there no delivery arranged for that day but there was order either! What they could not explain was how I had a confirmatory email of the contract and the delivery date and time because "it is not on the system".
Any chance of Vodafone actually employing people who know what the **** they are doing before all their customers leave?

    @Heidi

can you help with regards to capping my 250mb data per month. I can't afford to go over my allocated monthly cost, so need someway of capping my data per month

Also, I cancelled my monthly insurance @ £9.99per month via email on your website but this is still showing on my current bill? It seems to be everytime I need to speak to VF, its always to complain about a service/incentive your team offered to not lose me as (and I quote) VIP customer!

    Hi Discodave,

I am afraid we are unable to cap data so you can't exceed your allowance. If you are concerned about going over, you can track it either through My Account or by dialling 44555 from your handset.

I am sorry to hear that your insurance hasn't been taken off. I will be happy to sort this out for you. Drop me an email to the address here with WRT135 FAO Heidi in the subject and I will remove it.

    Many thanks,
