I'm having yet another problem with this lot. The Web Relations Team always sorts them out - eventually - but I'm pretty sick of having to keep going back to them because the rest of the organsiation is utterly useless and has no concern whatsover about its customers. Over the last few years I've had multiple contracts with them at any one time, but it will be great to be completely free of them after wasting so much time and having so much hassle on an endless number of never-ending problems at their instigation.

ANY network HAS to be better than this - though most seem pretty awful, Vodafone is now consistently APPALLING!!!!!!!!!

I range Vodafone twice yesterday regarding two different issues and the customer service on both issues was appalling. The first issue was resolved by phoning back and speaking to a different advisor who knew exactly what i required.

The second call was relating to unlocking a mobile and was informed that it would take 72 hours and then it would be sent out by letter, just gave up it will be quicker to take it to one of the unlocking shops.

Can i please ask what the problem is with giving out the CEO email address?

If you are having constant problems with Vodafone it is the only way to get results! Plus it is freely available on the internet.

    Ridiculous.

Also funny how when people are being bullied on MSE the mods do nothing but now i am trying to help people you remove the help........

They can text/email you the details for unlocking straight away, but this may be dependant on phone model/brand.

bit peeved to say the least with Vodafone today.

took the OH into Vodaphone a few weeks ago to ask how i can get my phone fixed / upgraded / replaced as the speaker has goes crackly mid conversation and the signal dips and rises every few minutes (and the internet is slow as hell)

man in the shop basically tried ot make out it was my package, and pushed me into a different tarrif (same value per month) however i still have all the same problems and when i sit my phone next to my work phone (same handset and network but a business contract supplied by my employer) the work phone retains a steady signal while the mobile is "yoyo'ing"

bit frustrated as it means a 35 minute trip into the nearest Voda shop to sort out.

will there be any way of sorting this out that doesnt involve me loosing the phone all together for a week?

Are we going back to the dark ages where we used to be charged for ringing a mobile and now Vodafone is charging me for ringing my own land line? I was testing my payg phone and did not touch my land line phone at all, yet my mobile phone said connected and charged me 25 pence.
I did a silly thing and used their online chat service just now and got this no.08080000133 ringing me and kept going off when I asked my question.
Just found out this number is a sales number pestering folks.

yea, money is charged on connection, not pickup... which does suck and never used to be the case of PAYG. (back in the late 90's)

    That statement is incorrect.

You are NOT charged for an unanswered call, but if the call goes to a voicemail service, you are charged.

3 weeks ago 1 of my 3 contracts with voda had expired, called to see why it had ended as I thought I still had a week or so before it ended, advisor I spoke to offered me a good deal if I restored my contract, stupidly agreed and requested he put me through to the relevant department to confirm the deal, he stated this was only possible once I agreed to restore (can you see where it's going?), so I agreed. He then transferred me to the relevant department who stated the said deal could not be offered, I obviously kicked off, then spoke to a manger who said the conversation would have to be listened in to and if the said deal was offered it would have to honoured, the listening in of the call would take UPTO 32 hours.

2 weeks later still no response, called and again messed about with misinformation and conflicting advice so again spoke to a manager who informed me the request to listen into the call had not been made but she would ensure it happens this time round and would take UPTO 32 hours.

1 week later (3 weeks in total) no response, spent over 4 hours trying to get hold of a manger to resolve the issue, either they werent available or I missed their call back (can't take calls at work) as they did not call back at the agreed times! Finally spoke to a manger who told me that they would NOT honour the deal, even though 2 previous mangers said once the call was listened into they would have to honour it, he was very rude and abrupt and stated I wanted a quick resolution so that's what I had been given!!!

He was very flippant and rude and continuously spoke over me and would not let me get my point a cross, after stating I wanted to escalte the matter with customer services I ended the call, he then called me back after a few minutes didn't once apologise but changed his tone and stated that the call would be listened into and a decision made whether to honour the initial offer made to me in the first instance, but it would take upto 5 days for the call to be listened into and potentially 3 days for a decision to be made!!! THAT'S 8 DAYS ON TOP OF THE 3 WEEKS I'VE ALREADY HAD TO WAIT!!

I have been a customer for over 4 years and have 3 contracts with them, and initially upon joining them referred over 11 people (to be fair it was a good deal at the time!), but needless to say I have requested my PAC code and given notice on the other 2 contracts!

Over the last 6 months had some serious problems with Vodafone and each time it's been like we don't care as you can't do much about it and we can't be bothered (!).

Had enough now and time for a lengthy letter of complaint detailing all my 'issues' but rather then send this to the generic customer address anyone got the details for the director?

I remember someone once posting details of a website that has all the addresses and e-mails of senior bods at companies but can't find it now.

    TIA.

Had a phone call from the CEO office yesterday acknowledging the receipt of my e-mail and that someone from Vodafone will be in touch soon to resolve the issue. Sent an email to the CEO, fingers crossed, said I'll escalate it to Oftel if nothing is done.
