My wife called today to upgrade her phone to a iphone 4s and like Helmo5eshe'd been told differant months that she could upgrade only to be told its a computer error and she can only upgrade 20th May
So she called Vodafone today after finding a deal on Dial-a-Phone for the iphone 4s (with vodafone) and asked them to match it, they told her 'we cannot match it and can not see have dial-a-phone can do it at that price' (300mins,free phone £26 a month) but can give her a free iphone 4 at £31 p.m, she was then told the only differance is the camera for the iphone 4 & 4s which she wont use anyway!!! (nice of vodafone to tell her what she will & won't be using on HER phone!)
She told them if thats the case she will cancel her contract after being with Vodafone for 12 years, to which she was told 'OK' but we'll charge you £17.50 to cancel a month early.
No offers, no deals, so being a customer for 12years counts for nothing, they didnt even tell her she'll need her PAC numebr to go elsewhere.
She's going to 02 now and when the Iphone 5 is out i'm going to cancel my contract and go elsewhere, well done Vodafone you clearly don't care about your customers or customer loyalty!:mad:0 -
to follow on from yesterday, Vodafone called OH today to say 'we see your leaving us,why?' She went throught everything again and was told that Vodafone can only do offers on other phones not the iphone's, they didnt even give her any iphone offers of what they do!
In the mean time i've asked Vodafone to unlock my iphone 4 and I'll be getting a 'Sim Only' contract from Tesco.0 -
Hi Heidi.......Pleased to report both bills are correct for this month. thanks for your assistance.....
Ah! Another customer with incorrect monthly bills (albeit now sorted)
@ Heidi! ... after helping me with my new contract I am now being charged over my monthly plan.
In April I can account for £6 extra - althought I never used what it says I used it on, but that still leaves £10.xx unacccounted for, and for May its £4.xx also without explaination.
It looks as thought im being charged for Mobile Insurance which I told was free for the first 3 months, alongside 3 FREE months unlimited Data (which is free)
I would like to help me sort this out as you're the only VF Rep that seems to know they doing! :-)
EDIT - got it sorted! maybe there two VF reps that have sense!0 -
Many years ago I was a Vodafone customer.
My wife convinced me to change to Orange.
Last year she found a new phone deal for me through Quidco that would give her some cash back and give me a second rate 2G Blackberry.
Well, I've had nothing but trouble with this phone and nothing but BS and lies from Vodafone.
They will not honour the contract but expect me to.
Here's the thing; I have to pay every month for a phone that rarely does what it's claimed to be able to do. My payment never fails but the phone is clearly unfit for purpose. Therefore, they are in breach of contract.
Every single Vodafone representative I have spoken too lied with such ease that I have to assume that it's company policy.
They keep lying to me about when I can upgrade and when the contract ends too.
That reminds me; that's why I went to Orange in the first place when my wife first mentioned it.
Vodafone. Never again sorry.0 -

Thanks for letting me know this has now been sorted out for you.
If you need anything else, let me know.
Hi Fed Up With The Lies,
It’s really disappointing to hear that you are having problems with your BlackBerry and the service you have received so far.
If you would like me to help with this, you can email me personally via the address here with WRT135 FAO Heidi in the subject.
If you also include a contact number and a link to your post, I will give you a call.
Many thanks,
Heidi

So buyers' remorse, along with DD error, made worse by you spending the money for the DD?0 -
