Hi all,
I'm sorry to read about the experiences you've encountered here but thanks for making us aware of your individual cases.
Chrissybh0y,
So we can take a closer look at your query could you let me know the email reference number from the email you've posted here?
billyboy2468,
To enable us to check the details of the package in question in your case could you email us via the email address in our profile page here and we'll get back to you as soon as we can?
kari150,
Although it was disappointing to read about your dissatisfaction in regard to your concerns I'm pleased to see that matters have since been resolved following the intervention of my colleagues in our Director Support Office. Are your responses scripted ? This is pretty much the same thing that all the 'Web Relations Team' write on here, Facebook, Etc Etc.
Personally, I'd avoid Vodafone, Since defaulting on a contract due to me not paying a £300 bill for one month of usage i didn't use (which i had proof of) and Vodafone not allowing me to arrange a payment plan (Obviously because everyone has £300 burning a hole in there pockets), Yet since defaulting on that contract, i have 2 other phone contracts that i pay off in full each and every month, Who haven't charged me stupid amounts at all.
MichaelCR,
As the vast majority of posts we reply to involve issues which are specific to the customer's account it isn't really possible for us to advise the customer any further on what course of action may be possible to resolve their concerns until we've reviewed their case fully.
As such, we'd need to invite the customer to email us with their details so we can investigate matters further and determine a appropriate solution.
In regard to the concerns you've raised here about your credit file could you email the details in questions via the email address in our profile page marked for my attention so I can review this further?well im still waiting for my money. although i was told it would be tuesday . really am so fed up with vodafone, that if it wasnt for me ruining my credit i would just stop paying. there so quick to chase people for money, shame their not so quick to give back what the wrongfully took
pcal,
I can certainly appreciate where you're coming from here and so we can make sure that this does get resolved for you as quickly as possible could you also email us via the details in our profile page?
As soon we you're in touch with us we'll do our best to get back to you as soon as we can.
Gina,
Have you had a reply to your email as of yet?
Although our repair centre can only carry out work within the manufacturer's warranty guidelines, unless a repair estimate has been agreed by the customer, we'd be happy to take a closer look at this for you.
If you'd like the Web Relations Team to assist you're welcome to email us via the address in our profile page here.
Kind regards to you all.

Can I trouble you for a little advice? I am an existing customer and trying to upgrade (my minimum contract is up and I am on SIM only atm). I have been promised a call back from one of your staff regarding this, but they have not called me (it's been two days) and I am not impressed.
Thanks

You could wait two decades and they still wouldn't call you back. It should warn you what they are like if/WHEN you have the smallest of problems with this company. If they can't even follow their own code even when there's a sale at stake, what do you think you can expect when you aren't spending more money?0 -
well i hope someone from the sham that is vodafone reads this
im a sahm and as you can guess everybit of money i have is needed by the kids for one thing or another. so i pay my bill by debit card. sue to another issuse i had with vf taking far to much by dd once. and this week they have taken not just the one payment but 2 . leaving me over 50 pound worse of and in a unarranged overdraft. really am angry with vf. they say it was a computer orrour yet here i am 4 days later still waiting for my money. what would happen if i didint pay them money i owed them. yet they took my moneyt without my permission. and they say oh ten days and you will have it back. well vodafone answer this why do my children now need to wait ten day till they get stuff they need.
bloody joke, as soon as my contract ends im leaving
I too have had double the money taken out of my account as well. I normally pay by direct debit but as my phone bill was so big this month, wanted to pay while i had some money, as have another big one going out at the same time. They took the payment twice, and now trying to get the money back is proving impossible, phoned up twice and keep being told that the money will be in there in 48 hours.
It is a joke, if I owed them money they would start charging me for it. Can I start charging them for it. And god help them if they also take out the direct debit, luckily I have put the money in the bank if they do, money I can ill afford, but its better then having charges on my account.

As it was taken by direct debit call the bank and invoke the direct debit guarantee. The bank should issue an immediate refund and sort it out.baldly going on...0 -
Hi,
I must say this thread makes very interesting reading.
I couldn't agree more with the posts asking whether the responses of the Vodafone Company rep and/or their customer services are scripted. Those replies that I have actually received (as most of my emails have just been ignored) are certainly scripted and entirely unhelpful, most of the time written by someone who appears not to have English as a first language and refer to an entirely different issue to the one you have raised, in my opinion deliberately.
I've been with Vodafone for 2 or 3 years now for mobile broadband. There have been many ups and downs.
Recently many more problems than usual but attempting to get these resolved has proved fruitless. Have sent several emails to the bog standard customer services and then to the CEO addresses. Always receive automated response so I know they have been received but NEVER get any substantive response.
Vodafone deliberately antagonise their customers with some of their responses as the customer services people read your email and when they do reply they send you a standard scripted reply back which refers to something competely different to the issue you have raised. That is one trick. The next one is that they deliberately disable your SIM card and claim it is an "update" so you have to go in to store to obtain another SIM card and lose access in the meantime. They should refund you for the time you have not had access and compensate you for having to go to store and pick up a replacement SIM. But when you seek this they simply ignore emails. In the years I have been with them this "SIM update" has never been required until now when I attempt to cancel, strange that eh Vodafone?
One of the access issues I have been having and which has caused me to want to cancel it seems may be resolved by some other gadget Vodafone now have but surprisingly enough this was never offered to me or discussed as an option by customer services but only mentioned to me when I was in store trying to get the replacement SIM card mentioned above.
Lastly, another problem of not being able to access online billing has been ongoing for more than a year. I had it verbally acknowledged by Vodafone that there was a fault in their system and it was being looked at but this has NEVER been sorted out so until I check my bank statement I have no idea what sums Vodafone have been claiming from me.
It seems clear that Vodafone do not wish to retain their long standing customers and have no interest in responding to email complaints.
My advice to anyone considering Vodafone would be to tread carefully and consider all other suppliers before this one.
Meanwhile as Vodafone are refusing to reply to my request for recompense for the time I had no service because they disabled my SIM and for the costs of travelling to store to collect an (unnecessary) replacement, does anyone know if I can get my bank to claim back the direct debit money Vodafone have claimed until they sort this out. Or what other action could I take?
Many thx.0 -

Sigh. True.
