I am a bit emotional, as I had to go back over everything, and its difficult to do that. I lost my right to apply to have the boys in December. So therefore I feel that I have let them down, even though the other part of me knows that I can not have 3 of them running around all the time.

Who told you, you lost your rights? You can apply right up to the day of the hearing for final decisions to be put in front of the court - I'm a little busy next couple of days but if you are about Friday eveing and want me to I'll give you a call - its easier to chat than type.

Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.

The courts gave us a deadline for extended family members to apply to the courts for our interests in the boys. That was when I did all the soul searching in the autumn.

Anyway, its a pointless thought, as I cannot do any more then show my interest in visiting the boys. As while they are so little I cannot cope with them, (Unless I was to be rich enough to employ a nanny to do all the ground work for me!!).

But thanks Gizmo. I think I just feel so guilty that I have DGD and I didnt keep the boys when they were left with me last spring.
I feel I let them and thier mother down, and now she is at breaking point, and I cannot do anything to help her, except complain at the way the situation even started!.

Right its the day to visit the boys, so I better not get all emotional now. I am still in my dressinggown, and I shouldnt be by now.
I had a terrible night, waking every 2 hours for either myself or for DGD coughing, or DS to go to bed!!

Well we saw the boys and were greeted wih great hugs from them both, and granny sung from the top of DGS1's lungs.
I was not able to be as active with them as normal as I am struggling today. I have terrible sciatica on the right side now!. To add to all the problems from the left. I am also getting a lot of sharp pains in the base of my neck and back of my head. I feel disorientated and do not want to drive anymore today.
I have a parcel to be collected at the Post office. Which will have to wait now, but I think that it is a big box so DS will not be able to walk down and collect it so I will have to hope I am better tomorrow.

DGD is playing with her bricks and cars and the floor is covered in bricks etc now.

I had hoped to be unpacking anothe box and storing things in the cupboard/able to access them etc, but it will have to wait until I am better.

Time for my tablets again, a heat pad, a cup of tea, and hopefully a little rest. If DGD will allow it.

I dont usually look at the links at the top of my thread. But for some reason tonight I just did. Am sad to see that one of the related links for me is for the over60's money saving tips.
Now if didnt already feel well passed my age. I do now. I am still only 49!!!

Catching up on some recorded TV. Hoping to actually stay up till about 10pm. ! I have been going to bed earlier and earlier, and my sleep is all over the place. See if I can get some better sleep tonight.

Well I stayed up till after 10pm Went to bed, and managed to sleep for about 2 hours before needing the loo!. Dispite my alarm being set for 7.45 I was awake by 5.45, (after being up 3 times already), so my sleep is still not good.
Just caught up on my emails. Still junk getting through.!
    DGD woke at 7.30.
We are still in our dressinggowns. She is playing with her bricks. I have had my cup of tea.
Twin1's thinks are now dry, and I just need to put the last of them into the bag to take back, when I take DGD to go and see her for Play and Stay.
Hoping that the swimming will still be on,.

The wind is quite bad and my clothes line has taken off. Unfortunately I cannot put it down. Its too stiff.! Its up against my back door at the moment, and I am worried that it may disappear over the fence at some stage!.

Time we ate our breakfasts and got on.

Hope you had a good day today Mooloo! x

The morning started out well, with DGD going to stay and play with her mum and then on to swimming. However Mum didnt go in with her her aunty did. (twin2).
I visited my parents, went to the post office to collect a parcel and then back home.
Alas had an arguement with DS, and have come to oxford earlier then planned. Drove over in the rush hour! Yuk, but BF cooked us tea, and I just dealt with DGD.
She was flat out by 8pm. I could so easily have been as well, but stopped up with BF watching some TV.

DGD slept well and allowed me a lie in until 8.30 this morning.

I brought the laptop here with me, and am using someonelses wifi at the moment. So not sure on signal strength, or whether it will work for long or not.

Not sure what the plans for today will be, but I aim to take it as easy as I can. However it would be a good opportunity to take DGD to Cowley and get some new shoes and socks etc for her. She is growing so fast.
My cheque has cleared, so I can also look for my shed properly now.
    :D

  • Don't forget Primark & George for all the basics for your DGD. Socks, knickers, swim-wear, nightwear etc all very cheap in both. Noticed that the shoes are quite a bit cheaper in Next this year too, so may be worth looking at.

I went to Cowley centre, and I managed to buy socks, vests and some TShirts, and a pair of Wellies in Matalan. Then we went to the other side of the centre, and we bought her some shoes in the Shoe Factory, using up some Vouchers that Biggest of Mooloo gave me for her last year. (and I kept fogetting to use). We came home with Silver sparkly shoes (dance shoes DGD insisted), an some colourful plimpsole type shoes. with a 2p change.

I bought 2 hotwater bottles in the 99p store ready for my sewing projects.

I managed to get some sewing done on the spare machine I keep at BF's, although it was a bit laboured. So I have brought it back home, (BF put it in the car), and I am going to see if the same people can service it as did my main machine.
I altered Molly's top, and took in two pairs of jeans that BF had bought.
Then today I also mended a pair of his daughters jeggins, and made an apron for DGD as I had forgotten to take hers with me.

I am finding the sciatica really debilitating ontop of my normal pains. And I shall be glad of my bed tonight.

    DS is not about.
He is obviously lying low today.

Glad you had a good weekend with BF, things will even out over the next few months.
I've had an horrendous week at work - nearly attacked by a family member with a jack from their car - on the funny side all the neighbours suddenly had windows to clean. That all sorted itself out with the help of the police and then on Friday night I found out a freind had died - he was found by his next door neighbour just outside his bathroom, suspect heart attack.
My kitchen sink flooded and took me all weekend to sort out with a clueless plumber. The cupboard underneath the sink is now all blown with water damage.
A freind rang earlier - her lodger was screaming drunk and passed out in the hall and wet herself all over the carpet, we were considering paramedics as she was in such a state (age 53 mind:eek:) but she woke up and staggered up to bed. Eviction notice for her tomorrow I guess.
My best mate is having chemotherapy after masectomey and having horrendous side effects
And the exhaust on my car seems to be making a funny noise - its in for service and check Wed.
And to top it all my daughters idiot BF is coming to tea tomorrow:p

    I need a holiday!
