Oh so pleased for Biggest. Love it when a plan comes together xxxx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Well I was so tired I didnt come back on the laptop again yesterday. Although in the end I didnt go and get Biggest from her work. My Dad offered to do it. (He really is such a lovely old man, but dont tell him I said Old, as he doesnt think he is (He is 79 in February). I took DGD to theirs where the health visitor came to do her form filling, and we weighed and measured DGD to fill in the Red Book, and her paperwork. I had a cuppa with them, actually two, and came home via the Leisure Centre where i left the Sewing machine. (Lifting it in and out of the car really played havoc with my back, along with all the driving.). I was in severe pain by the time I got home. Just as well I hadnt done the extra trip for Biggest.

Biggest seems to have all the things for the baby either bought, or on order, with various family members helping her. She is not eligeable for the grants etc that the twins were able to get when they had thier children. Eiether due to being in work, or due to the government no longer doing them.
She will be getting Maternity Allowance. So although its nowhere near her income now, at least there will be money coming in.
She will have about 6 weeks to wait now till they actually get her new house. (Private rented). She is so excited. I do hope that nothing goes wrong, and that this move will be a steady and a happy one for her. It does put her further away from me again. But it is only just off of a main road and easy to get to. She will only be about a mile from where we used to live, in 1995, and if she was to stay there her child would go to the same school that she and her sisters went to for a short while.

There is still no sign of any Cheque or any funds into my account Via Bacs. So I still await the SS paying up.
My solicitors letter arrived, with copies of his letters to the"chocolate teapot", and he has stated in it, that it is not "my clients position to get twin1 to sign anything, as it was a clear case of conflict of interest between our client and her daughter and it could well be construed that undue influence had been exerted upon Twin1 to provide that confirmation via ourselves".
So we will see what becomes of that one.

Twin1 has however had a phone call from her solicitor, and is meeting in February sometime to get a letter signed. (My Solicitor rang hers and asked what they were doing etc). So fingers crossed that something will come of it.

However meanwhile I did actually send an email telling the Fostering SW, that at the moment, I was no longer sure I wanted to go ahead, as I had "No confidence in dealing with County Council Childrens Department at all.! So we will see what kettle of fish that stirs up!.

Twin1 rang last night. She is well enought to take DGD to her Stay and Play today, and then they are going on to the Swimming with twin2 and her BF so I have until 2pm without DGD this morning. However Fostering SW is due here at 11am to see DS, and then wants to see me aswell, to save a journey etc next Tuesday. Which will help me a little next Tuesday as well.

Right think that thats me upto date now.! Well on here anyway. Not so sure about the housework etc ! But I shall go for my shower and then get on to it. I have an hour anyway to get some things sorted out.

I am fighting the depression with both barrels at the moment. My mum said that I looked a lot better yesterday then the day before when they came to visit me. (If I wasnt in pain I would be alot better though!).
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Mooloo don't forget that biggest will also get child benefit and probably child tax credits too.
I hope it is a better day for you.

I know you don't like 'making a fuss', but could you not have popped in and asked if he could lift it for you? Or someone? Tricky, I know ... and of course no-one to lift it into the car for you.

Another suggestion is whether a funky trundle or similar stacked in the back of the car would help? With one of those stretch elastics you might be able to go anywhere with anything ...
Signature removed for peace of mind

I shall take a visit to town next week, as it could be a good thing to have afterall.

When I dropped off the Sewing Machine, Twin2's BF was not on shift, and I dont know any of the staff to have asked them to help me. Otherwise I would have asked him to help me.
    He is the helpful one.

My back is very very bad today.
I went to Towcester with DGD, and left her with her Mum, for Stay and Play. But the others cancelled the swimming, so they were at her Aunties when i went back to collect her this afternoon. She was happy enough though.

Molly and I met up first thing, and she came with me to buy my bookshelves for under the stairs. The shop only had one in stock, plus the ready assembled demonstration stcok. So I persuaded them to sell me those, and my Ex husband, is going to collect them for me on Monday and bring them over. So I will soon be able to start to access the things under the stairs instead of having them in boxes I cannot move or lift.
When we got back the Fostering SW was here. She had done her talk etc with DS, and then she went through a lot of the stuff that we have to cross the T's and dot the I's over.
(Hang on email from her just coming in, must go and read).

Oh there is a professionals meeting now being held on the 11th Feb. To ascertain what/who is doing what, why etc etc.
    mmm.

This has become a total Joke really hasnt it? I hope that the rest of the country isnt as useless as this authority have been! It gives me no confidence for the care of my grandsons, and if the decisions are the right ones or not. But I cannot afford to go there, or I will be worse off health wise then i am nnow.
The SW today admitted that its a very stressful time for me, and that she didnt see, much support and thats what they are supposed to have been giving me.
She did come back outside to the garden, and is going to get back onto the housing department, and ask if they intend to clear it better and to find out if not, if they can help with the costs of getting it cleared, as they would not be happy for DGD to play out there. (Not that I will let her at the moment). But soon she is going to want to be playing. She (SW) also asked if there was a gate at the side of the house, but there isnt. She thinks I should have a gate there to stop DGD running to the front, as its a very busy bus route that we are on.
Lets see if she can help me, but I will not hold my breathe. lets face it, i still dont have the money in my hands !!

My Approved Food delivery has arrived. For once it actually looks like its right! So we have luxury goods to indulge in for supposedly the next month, but knowing my lot... possibly the next 10 days. as I usually end up with the Redcross parcels to them all.

Biggest of Mooloo is hoping to come for a visit in the morning, and possibly take DGD with her to visit her Dad, DGD/s other Grandad. That will be good, if she can get a car. She hopes to hear back from the insurance by Tuesday. Fingers crossed.

Time to heat up a pizza for tea. Thats quick and easy while I feel in so much pain.
    :D

They seem to be the most incompetent hesitant bunch I have ever come across, I hope we're not this seen as being anywhere near this useless. There is no way they will remove DGD from you, they have no order and if they went to court to get one they would be laughed out by a very angry judge/magistrate.
    Professionals meeting?? To decide what?
Fortunately the boys will have their own solicitor and will be represented through their guardian so that should be better organised.
I'll be glad when this month is over, had a horrible week at work making horrible decisions due to other peoples past poor decisions and feeling more than a little jaded, so a very large glass of wine or two :pand chinese take away is on the menu.
Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.
