  • Oh Mooloo

Hope you managed to get some sleep eventually, you definitely did the right thing by getting up and doing things - there is nothing worse than laying in bed worrying that you can't sleep and then you really can't sleep!!!!

Hope you have a good day today

    Morning, (again).
I managed to get back to sleep eventually, but not consistantly. Was up and down there after. But finally slept between 5.45ish and 7.30 when DGD woke up.
Weird and wonderful (not) dreams then.
Oh well, its time to get ready for the nursery Run, and push myself to getting on the start button of some of the jobs that are needed to be done today. Bank Balance is low, but there should be enough to cover the DD's and by the time Mondays funds go in, I should be able to cover the next Council Tax bill as well. By the skin of my teeth, but at least its there. NO TO THE KIDS THOUGH! NOT A PENNY. Easier said then done of course.
    Breakfast. Time is ticking.

Well fighting my self, I am so pleased as I have managed to do some sewing today.! I made a birthday bunting that DGD can give to her little class mate at her party on the weekend. I also remembered to book a dentist appointment for both of us, and confirm the counsilling for next week with twin2 and I. Along with washing "tigger" after DGD had thrown orange juice all over him this morning! (and the carpet). I found some new batteries in the drawer and have dug out all the craft bags, purses and wallets and taken photographs of them so that I can upload them onto the net and see if I can sell them. Although they may be a bit too summery for this time of year. But nothing ventured nothing gained.
I was going to go and have a sleep before I collected DGD but I ran out of time.
Oh well thats just going to mean an early night.

Mooloo, is it worth seeing if other mums would like to help, or would like to be shown how to do some of these simple jobs? Rather than you taking it all on yourself ...

The nursery have posted out the invitations to the parents for the school concert. December the 13th. So I have until a few days before that to get the costumes sorted out. So I shouted at them on Facebook page, to give me the stuff or I wont be able to do it!. Wonder if they take heed. At least that way all the Mums will know that its not my fault that they are not started as the school havent sorted them out for me to deal with.
I am supposed to be taking them, and removing all the tinsel etc, washing them, repairing them and sewing the tinsel back on, and making any extra costumes etc that are needed. Time is running out and I am not as fit as I was in the summer. No sewing all day and making 49 costumes in one day!. No way.

For goodness sake, Mooloo! By all means run a workshop where you show each Mum how to re-do their own kids' costume, and be there to advise if anyone has problems - but you really should not have to take on this task for the whole Nursery, that's ridiculous!

These young Mums need a good talking to at the school gate - or are they just totally selfish and stupid, and can't see you struggle? I also can't believe the teachers at nursery have let you take this on as they must be aware of the challenges you face just keeping up with DGD!

Please Mooloo, tell the nursery you'll do DGDs costume but not all of them. Let someone else take it on, you really have already got enough on your plate!

There will now be 3 of us to do the costumes, and that should help. The Nursery did/do know of my difficulties and have been told about how low I have been/am at the moment. I think the problem was that originally I was supposed to have the costumes in September, but as they are in storage somewhere, and they had lost the key. Its been found now, and they are going to go over on Tuesday. So I will inspect the costumes and dish out the work. They have offered some extra placement time for DGD for Free, while WE work on things. So I am feeling a lot better about it.
I think that I will remind them though that they still need to confirm the Carnival theme, and then running a work shop would be a brilliant idea!.
Diamonds and Pearls are the theme I believe for the carnival, but they have to register what they are doing.
I thought of pearly kings and queens, where they just had buttons on waistcoats for the children. That would be really simple to do. But we will see. I am not on the committee, although asked, I just dont get to do the evening meetings.

I made the majority of a rag wreath yesterday evening, really pleased with it, and I am just going to go and add the extras too it, to give it a bit of pzzazz.
Biggest of Mooloo had a headache, and been unwell for a little while, so I told her not to worry about coming to help with the housework.
I have managed to vaccum the sittingroom and hallway, and thats a help. I had a lot of threads on it after ripping up all my rags.!!:rotfl::rotfl:
I am only just over one weeks worth of rent in arrears now, and so I will be caught up by the end of December, as there are at least two weeks where we dont have to pay. its a 48 week year apparantly. So I will be fine. The stress for that is at least lifted.
Next year the council Tax will be alot less as there will be no arrears left to pay back. (At least I think that) but I will have to get through to March first.
£84.45 a month instead of £147 will be a huge difference.
Now that I know these things I am feeling a little more in control. Even if a little broke.
I have my photos to upload for the things still available to sell, so thats what I need to do when I get my rest.
Then if the arm is OK, some more sewing todo. I am always so much happier when i can get to the sewing machine, or have a needle and thread in my hand.

Glad you are getting *some* help with the costumes and I think it is a great idea to run a workshop for the carnival costumes. How cool would it be if you managed to get even one Mum interested in sewing! Really pleased that DGD gets some extra nursery time in return, it is good for her and fantastic for you :T

The Rag Wreath sounds fab, can't wait to see a picture when you have finished. :D Also, can you pm me a link of where you are selling your bags and things - I may need some bits for Christmas :D

Sorry to hear biggest is feeling a bit rough. If the headache is hanging around maybe she should visit the Dr?

:j:T:j Money may be really tight but you have done a great job catching up with the rent and the council tax arrears :j:T:j How much easier life will be once these are up to date :T:j:T

You sound so much better in yourself now than you did at the weekend.;)

Thanks MatyMoo, I am feeling less dejected and more positive, I wrote pages and pages in my diary to turn myself around, and listened several times to my Paul Mckenna CD to help me focus etc. I have found that when I cannot sleep, when I go back to bed, I run his CD and that stops me from thinking of all the things that are running around in my head, and then i am able to relax and nod off. (Until my bladder shouts at me of course!).
My face is not so good today. The nerves are all pins and needles all the way around from my forehead to behind my ear on the left, and some of the right side. This is a sign that when I was adding my ribbons etc to my wreath that I had my head too far forward. Perhaps its a time when I will need theto wear that dratted collar.

Re my bits, I must go and do that now. Reminds me.! I am dense sometimes and forget that if I need to do the simple things! derrr.
Will get back, must go and update my blog, havent been on there for such a long time either.!
