Pottered in the morning, brought some odds of fabrics downstairs and was playing around with them to see what they might make. Cut out a shopper, and parts of purse, wallets, and a pair of baby shoes. Still need other fabrics to make them complete though. But thats what I saw in one particular piece of fabric. (Well several scraps of the same fabric). Molly came over for a cuppa and a chat on her way through, at lunchtime. DGD had to be slightly bribed with a packet of sweets to be a little less intrusive while we tried to talk. We are going through the jealousy bit of attention. If granny is not giving her full attention she starts to play up.
Mid afternoon we went to see her Mum, take her to the council to sort out some forms for her Council Tax (thought she had done that already). Then took her back to her flat, and started to do a bit of pottering etc. Some young girls came over, so I instructed them to help if they were there, and not to hinder. But I doubt they will have done much once we had gone.
Biggest of Mooloo rang me just after Molly had left at lunchtime. DGD2 is not well. Poor little might has a bad cold and so not sleeping very well, meaning that Biggest of Mooloo hadnt swept much in the night. I told her that when her partner got in to tell him he had to take over and let her have a sleep in the afternoon/evening or she wouldnt be much good during the night.
DGD and I had pizza for tea. Simple stuff as I was very tired, and sore. Always am after I have been to rally the troupes or run around after them.
I watched some catch up on the TV and went to bed around 10pm.
Not too bad a night. Still up twice. But woke several times with really bad dreams or weird dreams. As DGD woke this morning she disturbed me from a very strange dream that I was glad to be out of!.
We have had breakfast, and she is watching some tv. Jumping around with Angelina Ballerina, now Olivia. Time for my shower, and then we are off to my parents to keep an eye on DGD2 while Biggest of Mooloo and DS are finishing off decorating thier hall for them before they come back from thier latest travel.
Catch up later, or tomorrow. BF is doing some of his own DIY and is coming back this evening.
Tablets all taken, so hopefully I can manage through my shower, and have enough time to recover, before I go off. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Thanks for this information. I wouldnt have known where to get a key from. Not sure if I will qualify though. As not registered as disabled at the moment. But definitely need access to loos, so perhaps that would count me in. I will investigate this at some stage.
BF came over yesterday evening. We were supposed to be going out, but both of us were rather tired really, so we stayed in and had a stirfry and a glass or two of wine.
I had been across to my parents house, with DGD and met up with DS and Biggest of Mooloo, and her baby.
I kept an eye on the kids while they continued to paint the hallway etc. They havent quiet finished, but we were there most of the day. I went to the shop behind my mums house. (litterally the other side of the road), and bought some lunch for us and I had the easy job of keeping baby and DGD amused, and everyone with cups of tea.
But that was still quite tiring for me.
Today we have been catching up with the washing, and although its been a really dull and horrid day, I have the towels and some bedding on the line. The rest of the wet stuff is folded in the bathroom ready to go out tomorrow now.
While I played about with some bunting/letters for one of the childrens birthdays next week, BF was on Google researching some patterns for the Pumpkin.
He and DGD then proceeded to do the pumkin. He did a really great job I am very impressed with it. Yesterday his daughter came up on Skype so when he got here, they had a good chat for a bit, and hopefully he will be persuaded to get himself a microphone for his old computer and go on it himself.
My arm is not good today, (holding babies, cooking, washing up, and cutting out, all take it out of me.), so that means that I havent got the energy to do anything else now.
With the clocks changing it seems like its bedtime and its only 4pm!! eek.
I hate the darkevenings, they really get me down. I shall have to put lights on etc and keep the place as bright as I can afford to do. I shall need to sort out my daylight lamp and make sure that i dont let the depression creep in, that is often a problem for me in the winter.
Any painting etc that wasnt done yesterday was supposed to be done today. I havent heard from the kids so I dont know. If there is anything left out, we will have to go over there tomorrow and finish it, as Mum and Dad come back on Tuesday.
Right time for me to rest while I can. DGD is playing with my button box. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Another lurker here Mooloo.:)
Have you tried Vitamin D for the winter? I'm not sure whether it would interfere with any of your other medication - your doctor should be able to help with that - but it might help. I find it really helps me during the horrible winter months.Keep smiling - it makes people wonder what you've been up to........:)0 -

Sounds like a busy weekend Mooloo, no wonder you are tired!

There is no such thing as registered disabled now Mooloo, if you look at the link on my post you'll see that all you have to do is tick the box to say you need it for medical reasons (and you do), there's no checks or assessments. You just pay the £4 and they post it out, mine took about 2 weeks and it's a godsend. It isn't a small thing though, a good 3 inchs long so no good if you're someone who never uses a handbag, it'd cause a mischief if you sat down with it in your pocket :rotfl:

I shall go ahead and do that then. Thanks.
I have a small handbag at the moment, completely opposite of the large ones I have had for the last couple of years, but its rather full most of the time, and getting rather tatty. Keep saying I will dig out one of the other ones, and eventually start to use my own bags that I have made. Except at the moment, Fabric bags are not such a good idea in the winter I suppose.
I managed to stay awake until 10.15ish watched Downton Abbey. I really enjoy that one. The fashions are wonderful. (Well for the ladies anyway). I like the elegance of the clothes, and the hark back to dressing for dinner, and the granduer. (If only!!).
The news is talking about adoptions being made easier. The word adoption really fills me with dread, what with the boys one so close. I still wake up thinking that i would like to have my boys with me, and wish I could work it out. CRAZY I know. I also know that its not going to happen. But that doesnt stop me wishing and wanting a miracle, to have my babies with me.
Right off topic. Sorry.
Biggest of Mooloo was ill yesterday so they were not able to finish the hallway at my parents. That means that today I will be over there helping to finish things off, as Mum and Dad are back tomorrow. Talk about cutting it fine.
I just hope that i can get my Son roped in to help again today.
I dont fancy trying to paint myself.
Time to get DGD out of my bedroom, she was watching MR Men but now she is running up and down the stairs with my old photographs, so I am wondering where she is raiding!. Another :eek:When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
I am physically shaking from a bunch of yobs.
I was sitting here watching TV when there was this almighty bang and the door knocker went. I thought something had either hit the door or the car!
But as I went to see if it was the car, there were a group of about 5 hoodied youths, walking down the street, and shouting foul language and they loitered at the bus stop a few doors down, and then went across the street, shouting obscenities (out side the old folks home), as they went off down the towards the main street.
Scared the life out of me.! How it didnt wake up DGD I do not know!.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
