5am is a horrible, Godforsaken time of day (-:...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

Yeah, I managed to do some sewing. I made 3 purses, 2 wallets and a couple of scented hearts. So I am pleased with that.
I had some pastry defrosted so I made a few mince pies and an apple pie.
Then the Social Worker decided to call me and came over this afternoon. Would you believe that they have lost my CRB check? Thats rediculous. So I had to fill it all in again.
Then she said that its just crossing the T's and dotting the I's now. mmmm do I actually believe her?
then we have to apply to the courts etc so time is ticking.
They are also reviewing the financial package that they are offering me. I hope that thats not going to change as I based my budget on receiving what they said for the next two years.
I am fed up of redoing my budget all the time, when money goes up and down like a yoyo!.
Right time to get Madam muck into bed.!
I want an early night, but not for being ill this time, just from being tired out. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
I was in Laura Ashley today and saw some Christmas bunting and thought Oh Mooloo could make that!

You may want to look at the draft excluder too (I would love one if you decide to make any):j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
Oh thanks MatyMoo, I think that they look great.! So simple to do as well. Well they look simple I suppose it will depend on how I back them.
I shall have a go as soon as I have done the bag thats been on order for quite a while.
Hoping to have a go at it today, as I managed to get the work room a bit more organised, (In places) last night.
I pressume you like the Hoho draught excluder then? I will have a go at it. See if I have anything I could make it out of in my stash, but not sure I have any plain Red!.
Right, had a reasonable night last night, only getting up twice, and managed to go straight back to sleep.
Feeling much better since I stopped the solefenic, although the rash on my hand hasnt gone yet.
But I am not so vague. Which is a help. At least I dont think so.
I had a phone call from the Jobcentre yesterday, wanting to get me to interviews to go back to work. I did say to the man that I thought he must be joking. How can I when I get so vague, tired, somedays I cannot walk properly, that I can only use the computer for limited amounts before My arm is tired. I couldnt drive every day, and I need to sleep in the middle of the day. What employer will want a 50 year old who has been ill for the last 3 odd years?? He said that he would pass my comments on to the team but to expect another phone call. I asked what they expected me to do with a 4 year old, and that I have help to be able to keep her, and care for her. He said did I want to go into Child minding? I said you are joking arent you? I couldnt pick up a little one. (If I could I would have adopted my boys mysself!). Although obviously he doesnt know my situation, only the paper report from the ATOS I suppose. But how she could say I was fit for work is beyond me, I was in a bad way last week.
If the government insist on my returning to work, then they will have to find a very understanding employer, and some fantastic paid work for very little input.???
Perhaps I will be famous and be able to sell my Mooloo bags etc at "designer" prices????:rotfl::rotfl:When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
You presumed right
Wouldn't have to be plain red would it, a small pattern would be OK? My lounge is mainly reds, creams and beiges though.
The job centre are almost laughableBut I suppose to him you are just a name on the system and until he actually sees you he won't understand.

OK, I will rummage in my stash and see what I have around. Wont be today now, as I was pottering with Halloween ghosts. Made some bunting for my DGD and then for my friend as her daughter thought that she would love it. Then I made a small trick or treats bag, with orange/black spiderweb ribbon, and the bottom of some trousers! Oh and the ghost.
Was going to make more of them, but will need to tweek the idea, (although its probably far too late for this years useage. But maybe I will just play around and can stash them till next year.- its not as if they will eat me out of house and home afterall.).
RE the jobcentre, I will just have to go along, dont want them to dock my money. We will see what they are going to do when I finally get there I suppose. I went through all of this in 2008 when I first started to claim ESA. So at least I know what to expect.
That went to stale mate as the Working Links place closed down.
So we will see. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
No rush at all Mooloo, there will be other Christmas's
Love the sound of the Halloween stuff you are making. And making for littlies is so much quicker than adult stuff.
Glad you know what to expect with the job centre. Evil madam that I am, I am hoping that you are having a bad day when you have to go in to see them!:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -

You will I expect be placed onto the "Work Programme as an ESA mandatory customer". There used to be a difference between a 3 or 6 month prognosis (this means that they expect you to be fit for work in either 3 or 6 months) but both get referred at the point of the work capability assessment result now.
There will be a provider in your area, Ingeus or A4E are the prime providers in the East Midlands but they might subcontract to another.
As an ESA claimant there are certain things that they can "mandate" you to do and things that they cant. See below for the guidance.
Mandatory ESA participants - All mandatory ESA participants (regardless of whether they have opted for early entry) can be required to undertake work-related activity that is reasonable in their circumstances. You can support ESA participants to apply for and take up work, but you may not mandate these participants to apply for jobs.
Hope this helps, any questions just ask.

Hi,
what do they call "work related activity" that is reasonable? How do I go to work when I have to go to bed in the middle of the day?
I have heard of Ingues, the Twins have been there to Northampton branch. They made them do CV's and send them out to various businessess around town. They also helped them with basic maths and english qualifications.
Well with respect I have plenty of O levels, and maths/english etc so I would not need that.
I used to drawer up CV's for a recruitment agency when I was younger so I know how to do a CV back to front.
My limits on the laptop are usually about the length of my postings. And even then I am often in Pain and suffer for some time afterwards.
I am in a massive amount of pain at the moment, with the strange sensations in my face on the right side today/ From having my hair done at the hairdresses. So I will probably be out of proper action today and probably tomorrow too! (The headache in the centre back of my head is really a hum dinger of one, and if DGD was not needed to be looked after, I would be in Bed by now.).
On a good note, BF has the day off tomorrow and is going to come over this evening, so we will have some time together tomorrow.
He is off to China for work in November and has some time off to use up. Bonus.
Right times up, arm says Stop. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

I dont understand what you are saying in this post. Mooloo wont be ready to go back to work in 3 or 6 months as her condition is progressive.I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0
