Aww, that's really nice of you Ladyshopper
I'd phone the college in advance if you are going to go there. I have a radar disabled key, and the college is on my list places I can go, but security will not let me in, as I don't have a valid college ID. I don't know if this is just my local, but I really needed the toilet by the time I'd got there and got myself really upset by them point blank refusing to let me use it.
I'll also be taking your advice to go back to the doctors and see what they can do to help...thanks x0 -
Ladyshopper wrote: »Mooloo - sorry to butt in, I read your thread every day but haven't ever posted. However, the going to the loo at the jobcentre struck a cord with me, as I have a frequency condition.
Have you ever been to the drs about going to the loo so often? There is a great deal they can do for that, and can often be sucessful at lessening the frequency issue depending on what is causing the problem.
I unfortunatley haven't been cured yet, and like you totally avoid places where I know there are no toilets, and the whole thing is a nightmare. I am going to a counsultant in London next month for a second opinion to see if there is anything more that can be done, but thats not to say they could'nt get your issue sorted out.
I am also in Northampton, so local to you! Trying to think of where you could go at the jobcentre - there is a college across the road, or the Jesus Centre which has a cafe, both those places I'm sure would let you use their toilets? Or round the corner where the shops are there is a KFC, I have used their toilets numerous times when shopping at Primark! They are upstairs though.
Anyway, like I said, sorry to intrude, hope you don't think I'm being rude bringing it up. I can just totally relate to it, and how impactive it can be on day to day life.
Your not intruding at all.! Thanks for the information. I will just have to cut any interviews short, and say hang on while I go across to the Jesus Centre to use the loo, take a break and I will come back! Wonder how that would go down?
I wonder if there is a jobcentre that does have a loo?
The doctors gave me Solifenic, (vesecare) to take, I used to take it before, stopped and going to the loo got worse, so then we re started it a couple of weeks ago.
But this time it has shown up that I had a rash started when I started to take it, and that it was making me terribly tired and vague. (More so then the rest of my medications), and litterally was putting me out of action for the majority of the week before. So I stopped taking it last Wednesday.
I cannot get to see my doctor until the 4th November, where they are going to take another urine sample to rule out an added infection and then do an investigation to makesure that there are no prolapses getting in the way! (Not looking forward to that I am sure!). But I will be continuing and asking for the support and help as it really gets in the way of doing much. (When I can.). Luckily as I am at home most of the time, and do my shoppingl etc on line, then I am sitting only a wall away from the loo!
If I go anywhere, I go to the loo before I leave and as soon as I arrive!

Oops! Sorry, that just shows you my life! If I didnt point out the various antics of the family, I suppose it wouldnt be me.!
DGD has gone to Molly's for a few hours. So I have a little bit of peace, and then I can go to the Physio, before they bring her back.
Also on a plus BF is coming over for a visit still, as he has the day off work.
Have done a bit more housework, put the nets back up, that was an effort and dont tell anyone I stood on the chair to do it!!
I also hoovered the front room, after picking up the bits and pieces lurking! But thats me needing a rest now!.
Cup of tea, and a bit of MSE and Sewing related surfing. No sewing as I had hoped, yet anyway. There is always later or tomorrow. We will see.
Its rather wet and horrible out there so the washing will have to go on the airer when I am able. The stuff on the line can stay there as its not going to get any wetter, as its under cover, but probably wont be dry due to the rain all night. Its a dull day thats for sure, I think I may need to put the lights on! eekWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
There are loads of tablets they can try - I've had most of them! Once they rule out infections and check to see if its a prolapse, they really need to refer you to a urologist to get to the bottom of it.
I could really do with getting a radar key, not sure where to go to get one though.0 -

trouble is with more tablets for mooloo, they need to check cross-reactions / contra-indications with all her other meds!
I think I need to go more when I'm out and about, or rather, I DO go more when I'm out and about, because you never know when the next chance will come! It's knowing I can't, or might not be able to go, I think!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

Oh Thanks, thats a great thing to know! I have gone to the jobcentre before with the girls and ended up hiking back to the Busstation, and only just getting there. That was when I was much more mobile too!!
Still not sure how long the interview may be and that I will be able to wait. As you say Sue, its the fear of not being able to wait, which also makes you go to the loo when ever you manage to get to find a loo.
When I walk into a place the first thing I do, is find where the loos are!. Mind you this is nothing new, even as a youngster I had the problems.
I did have investigations when I was 16years old, as I would laugh and wet myself! (Not that i have done that very often you understand but it was quite common before investigations were carried out.). They turned me upside down, and filled my bladder with dye! It was an awful experience. Trying to stretch my bladder, and then also the exercises etc to strengthen my pelvic floor etc.
What fun I have had!
See now you know most of my secrets too!! oops.
I have always put it down to the fact that I was a premature baby, and that I was lucky that that was all that was my main problems until recently anyway.
Molly brought DGD back to me, just as I got back from Physio.
BF arrived in time for some lunch, and has only just gone now.
We had a quiet afternoon at home but it was pleasant. BF even got down on the floor building towers of bricks with DGD. Some amazing structures rather then just towers!. Then after they had been up a while, he let her throw a small ball at them to knock them down. While I cooked the dinner. I say I cooked it. It was not difficult as it was lamb shanks that you only have to microwave!, some potatoes and carrots.
While they were playing I actually did a bit of hand sewing too. Adding another set of squares to my main body of work.
I am very tired now, and I am off to bed.
Its amazing to see so many "new faces" popping up at the moment, not realising how many really do read this thread!
For those of you who follow and lurk, you are allowed to say hi! Mind you then again it might scare me to realise who does actually bother to pop in and follow my crazy world. Alas its all real. Nothing fictitious about my world. :eek:When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Well as BF was here when DGD went to bed, she assumed he was still here this morning and played quietly in her bedroom allowing me a small lay in! Yipee. Once well behaved little girl. She even just sat at the table for her breakfast without an arguement. (she still thought he was in bed, although I said he has gone to work). She is always much better for him then she is for me. He doesnt stand for any nonsense, and she wouldnt dare answer him back etc etc.
Her Mum is on a Confidence building course which the Bromford Support have enrolled her in, along with her twin sister, and alas the daughter from the family from hell, (the one that causes them the most grief usually), and a few others that are of thier age group, and with young kids. So we are not going to be going to visit this morning as we usually do.
Maybe manage it this afternoon. We will have to see. The course lasts till 3pm.
Havent heard from Biggest of Mooloo yet. She may need a hand as she is decorating my parents hall. DS has been helping her. He rang me last night asking me to intervien on an arguement with him and twin 2 about an Xbox controller. So I had said no. I wasnt going to ring and interviene. We will see whats occured since no doubt.
I had a good night and only had to go to the loo once! Amazing. Also having two pillows under my knees as the physio suggested has helped with the small of my back. All good good.
So I wonder what the day will actually bring? We will see. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
