I shall go ahead and do that then. Thanks.
I have a small handbag at the moment, completely opposite of the large ones I have had for the last couple of years, but its rather full most of the time, and getting rather tatty.

Is that like the cobblers' children going bare-foot, and the builder's family living in a wreck?

Oh Mooloo I know exactly what that is like. We endured four years of that and worse. Hopefully it was a one off. Kids can be so horrible nowadays.

I sat up until nearly Midnight. I was not feeling callm enough to go to sleep until then. Too jittery.
This is me who used to get into the middle of big men brawling in my pub, kick out idiots and even people with guns and knives! Deal with drug dealers etc and "kick !!!" as they say!.
Stupid when I am on my own, and its obviously just a fire cracker or something. But at the time it shook me! Shows that when we stop doing things we forget about the impact that they had to us. Etc.

I am happy to report that I slept reasonably well, that there was no more sudden bangs, and I am calm as a cucumber this morning.

I have now the mundane on my mind. Housework while I can, and paperwork if I get the opportunity.
First its time to take DGD to Nursery. Then hang out the washing/on the line under the cover, and some on the rack in the bathroom.
Molly is coming over around 10am as well.
    Better move.

Grrr to loud bangs and horrid youths :(

We have had fireworks going off around here every night since Dawali and there was a stream of tick or treaters at the door for about 2 hours last night. Thank goodness for the £1 shop, I got 2 bags of sweets and they more than covered it.

I suppose if I had heard anyone around in the evening then I would not have jumped so much. But it had been completely quiet here!. Oh well.
I have a tray full of sweets that we had for any people who had knocked, so DGD will have several months worth of sweets!
Plus the ones she collected out last night. She really enjoyed her night out by the sounds of things.

Molly has been over for a cuppa and a chat. Now its nearly Lunchtime. EEK.
Jobcentre rang me, about the back to work interviews etc. The lady who rang had met me earlier in the year,, when I had wanted to try and set up my sewing legitamitely. She was very sympathetic and has said that we can do the interview over the telephone.
So she is going to send me out the letter that will actually say I should attend, but not to go in, just that she will call me at that alloted time. :T She has also said that she will send me an appeal form out, but as the ATOS was a few weeks ago, I only have a few days to get the appeal sorted out and in. So have been on the Benefits and Works web site with Molly to see what is needed.
Then the talk got on to the adoption of the boys etc, and my frustrations, wishes and the rest. Hence the time has flown by.
Now I need to get the bunting for the little boys birthday at the weekend.

Well I managed to get time to make the bunting for the weekend birthday boy. So I am pleased.
Needed to lie down afterwards though. Had a call from my parents they are back from thier latest wanderings. Seem pleased with thier decorating so thats good.
DS has been much better and appears to be completely out of the clutches of the family from hell at the moment. Fingerscrossed. Just had a chat with his girlfriend on Facebook. Alas she is in Scotland for her education so its a bit of a long distance thing. But she also seems relieved.
My relief is that she is a sensible girl and is studying to be a Lawyer or something along those lines, so she seems to have her head screwed on.
I am very tired still, and am going to have a cuppa and an earlyish night after my late night last night.
Just hope dGD is settling soon.

Well after some deliberation I decided to try and stay awake a bit longer and catch up on some recorded TV. So I watched 2 episodes of DCI Banks back to back. (MInus the adverts) before going to bed around 10.30 Which is late for me, but early too some.
I did have to get up for the usual water works, but soon went back to sleep, which is just as well as DGD woke me at 6.15.
So we have been awake a while now. But at least it has given me time to shower and dry my hair, before the school run. WE are both dressed, and ready to go. So DGD can have some Scooby Doo (again!) before we go, and I can sit on here while I have a rest and get my breath back!.
We (Molly and I) are invited to another Mums for a cuppa today. So thats nice. Molly doesnt know her very well, so a newish friendship is nice to have.
DGD stops at nursery for Lunch today, so I will still get time to do some sewing afterwards. I have decided that I must start on the saddle bags.
They are much more work then bunting of course!. So I will have to do it in sections. 30 minute slots at a time perhaps.
    Have a good day all.

Well first Molly had to cancel as she was unwell, and then when I had dropped DGD at nursery the Mum had to cancel too. So I went to see my parents and then I went on to Ikea in MK to get some more bits and a laptop table. I forgot how big the place was, and it really took it out of me walking around. Had to stop regularily, and leant on my trolley a lot.
Oh well at least I could take my time.
I am having trouble setting the table up as the washer came out of the leg, and it really needs to go down into the stand about another half centimetre or so, and then the thing will be more stable. But DGD got in the way while I was trying to build it and I ended up pulling the screw and the washer out of the tube trying to restraighten things. Result I have aterribly wobbly laptop table.
I am trying it out, but I know that I couldnt use it or leave the laptop on it for very long. Until I can get the washer sorted out. I hope I dont have to go all the way back to Ikea to get a replacement washer! Grrrrr. I should have waited until she was in bed, and no interruptions etc were bound to have happened. Will I ever learn that she will not leave me alone to do anything!.

Right I am tired, again, and I will not be doing anything else tonight. Once we have done dinner and her bath that will be it for me.
I havent any plans for the morning once she is in Nursery so I can rest up before the social workers come in the afternoon.

Morning, Biggest of Mooloo is here and helping me tidy up. I did manage to blitz the bathroom this morning, as I was up again at 6am.
    DGD has gone to nursery.
One of the social workers has rung to cancel, but I havent heard from the other one. We will have to see.
I am using the new laptop table that I picked up in Ikea yesterday. Feels a strange position to be in, so it may take me a while to get the right height for it.
The house is coming back into shape, and I may be able to get back to the sewing room later today.
I havent heard from Molly this morning, so I will go and see if I can see how she is this morning.
