Hi Jo4, thanks, you reminded me that one of the bags was for you!:eek:Sorry. I will get on with it. I will look for the measurements, i wrote in the front of my last notebook.(Journal).
Have you found the christmas nuetral challenge?
if not I will add the links in a bit.
This is one of the threads that I sort of follow. Although am not a complete slave too, it moves fast, but the ideas at the start are a good place to begin.

No panic on it Mooloo, the week you have planned for yourself is far more important - about time you got to do something for yourself! I found the Christmas challenge, thank you for the link.
I hope you have a lovely week!0 -
Well I dropped off DGD at Nursery, went to see Biggest of Mooloo, as I was early for the hairdresser. She was also going to the hairdresser as she is a friend of hers, she had told her that I was going today, and so we both had our hair done. DGD2 was asleep nearly all of the time we were there.
Well I look like a completely different woman!
I have had my hair cut reasonably short, and now is a lightbrown with highlights as apposed to the blonde I have been 99% of my life.
Hope that BF likes it.
(Mind you if he doesnt there is not alot he can do about it!).
I went to the charity shops on my way home, picked up a sheet for £2.50 so I can use it for my bunting. I was short of plain lilac fabric, so thats a bargain. Exactly what I wanted to get. I also bought some bright green napkins. Not sure what I will do with them, but some I have bought previously I intend to turn into lingerie bags.
My Dad text me from France. Hot there too. He was having a beer and watching the world go by. Mum would be having a wine no doubt. Lovely.
Mum said that the bag I made for her was lovely, and so light.
I Gave her the matching set of the patchwork fabric, purse, totestyle bag and walking stick bag. So I am pleased that she is using it.
DGD was not so thrilled when i picked her up as she said "your not blonde like me anymore". She started to cry but I told her that I was still hers and it didnt matter what colour our hair is. Bless her.
I have been reading mor of the book, Co-dependant. It does appear to slant for those tied up with alcoholics alot, but the basics I can get.
I am going to read more and try and do some of the activities later.
However today one of the twins rang me and asked me to send £20 over to her bank so she would be able to go and sign on.
Firstly I told her to keep the money back, when I saw her on Thursday.
Secondly I was miles away in a hairdressers so I couldnt do it anyway.
Afterwards I felt good that I had actually said no, then I also started to feel guilty that if I have been the cause of her not being able to sign on, she will not get her money on Thursday. But I am too chicken to phone up and see if she sorted it out for herself or not.
This evening I have been doing survey after survey, to top up my money nuetral for christmas, but I really must remember that any savings that I am making are put in the Christmas funds.!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Glad you are getting some me time this week.
My sister went brown after being blonde for years & I kept losing her when we were out and about - I was still looking for a blonde bird!:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
Oh MatyMoo,
Love your Avatar. Do you have westies like me?
Really looking forward to seeing the new you soon Mooloo xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Hi Molly:D
Avatar is my sister's dog, she is absolutely beautiful but bonkers. Now 10 years old and has quietened down very slightly but it is like having a toddler about most of the time and you have to use distraction techniques when she is being naughty. Or holler like a fishwife :rotfl: She gets to stay with me for holidays or I go there if my sister is away for the weekends as she gets very stressed in the car (the dog, not my sister).
It is the 3rd Westie she has had, all very different characters and builds but this one really is so wilful.:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
Today I am going to sew the bunting I got the fabrics sorted out for finally. At least unless some disaster happens. But I think we should be reasonably safe today.
The shopping is due at lunchtime. So should not impact on the times for collecting DGD from the nursery.
The nursery thanked me again, in the news letter, but they completely got my name wrong!! Oh well the sentiment was there.
Just been going through the paperwork drawer, and trying to get it into some sort of order.
Have a bill that I have had months and months that I better pay!! oops. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Well I paid the two bills that I had for HMRC and the IL.
Then I made the bunting for lilimae.
Molly came over for a cuppa and a chat.
In the afternoon I went to collect DGD from Nursery, had lots of lovely comments about my hair. So I was pleased, it made me feel better.
We went and collected her Mum. she was at her sisters. Yet another new face was there. Some chap or other who was stopping the night!! here we go again.
I was not pleased. But what can I do about it. I reminded her that she had just had the letter from the Housing evicting her brother.
Yep, he has to go. So thats yet another problem. He and his mates have been causing disruptions in the area, and have to go! Great. Does this mean that he has to come back home.? If it does then it means that I have all that stress again, and I have to give up my sewing room that I have just got organised for the commissions that I am slowly getting for Mooloo's.
But I will not panic yet. What is the point. It will not get me anywhere. He has until the 8th July to be out. If not they will have no choice but to evict her as well.
Right, today the car has its service. So I better get my act together, as we must leave on time, as I had forgotten that I had to drop Twin1 back in Towcester before I went to the garage. So I am going to be cutting it fine.
All my final savings have been transfered into my main account so that I can pay for the service. As I have a few parcels in the post to me with Christmas fabrics, some books, and a few other bits and pieces still to be charged to the bank account. The cheque I received although posted to the bank have not arrived in the account as yet.
So I will be able to replace some of the savings when it does.
But I will be back on the frugal track again for July (except on my Birthday weekend!!).
I will have 6 months to sort out for Christmas, so doing as many surveys as I can stomach, to get a few vouchers etc
Then I will hopefully get a few more sewing orders as I get working. Health permitting of course.
Right time to go.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Mooloo, are you able to pay into your bank account at the Post Office?0

Mooloo, are you able to pay into your bank account at the Post Office?
Yes I think so. But the last time I did that it took 10 days to get to the account, and another 5 to clear. So they have now sent me some envelopes that send it striaght to a kind of clearing place rather then my actual bank thats in Oxford.
been reading some other threads. One that Molly pointed me to, is about changing from a frump to a christmas cracker. Some of the ideas are good, so I have decided to tag along for the ride. Although I doubt I will be able to keep up with the chat, as I spend most of my life on MSE these days. So many threads to follow. What a community we have all become over the years.
Notice a few names from about the place too.
I had such a good response today from the local shop about my sewing, and she will take a few of the things to sell. I am just going to tweek a few things, and get some pretty packaging sorted out. Then she will stock stuff. Yipee.
My new look is turning heads, so I do feel quite boosted about that.
Hope BF will like it when he sees me in the flesh so to speak. His remark about a picture I sent on video message wasnt much. Just agreed "thats different". So we will have to see.
This evening if I can get DGD to sleep early enough, I am going to try and relax in the bath. I know I had a shower this morning and so all my grooming is done, I just fancy taking a glass of wine, having the bubbles and a book to read. Maybe even light a few candles. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Morning.
Been steadily doing some housework this morning. I sort of seem to have covered my whole house in Clutter again! Where is it all coming from?
Ahem. Perhaps its time to start to do a declutter again.
Never got as far as taking a bath last night. Sat watching rubbish on the TV. All those channels and nothing inspiring to watch. Least I couldnt find anything.
Watched some psychic on the TV, and her voice drove me mad. Still not sure I believe in them though.
Anyway, never mind.
Today I am hoping to go out with Molly for a little while. Have her daughter helping out with DGD. I feel very lucky with that at the moment.
I rang my solicitor today, to check what was happening with the Guardianship. He siad that he has had an email from the Social, and looks like they just need to agree the actual costs and its going to be go ahead. However he is leaving the practise on Friday. So I will be asigned a new solicitor.
Its been going on for so long now. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
