Hope you are OK today Mooloo, I have been thinking about you all day and wondering if I should have posted yesterday.

I think your molehills are as valid as anyone else's (and at times more so - not sure I could cope with all you do) and sometimes they do seem very high and it's difficult to get over that hump at the top. Actually we don't want you to get over the hump, as then you would have to go down the otherside. Think we need to look for a large plateau :rotfl:

    Morning MatyMoo,
I am not too bad. Dont worry about posting. I am fine with it.
Had tried to sew, but didnt do too well. My neck is not as good as it could be, and I was flat on my back by 7pm. Determind to get rid of the pain as soon as I could.
Will have to see about what position my head is in when I am sewing and on the laptop.
I scrapped in to Nursery as the other Mums were leaving yesterday.
Had a few more thankyous for the costumes from them too.
Cannot park the car anywhere near my house as the Neighbour is hogging the spot, dispite having his own drive, and enough space to park 5-6 vehicles! But what is the point of trying to explain to an ignoramous that he is making life difficult for me, as he would probably make it worse!. Its awkward geting DGD to the car, and getting her in it, as I cannot do the usual, get her to stand at the gate, while I open the car. (My central locking key doesnt work). Then get her into the car. AS the car is parked so far away. One or the other would not be safe!.
Rise above the idiot Moo, rise above.
(It also shows that he is obviously without work at the moment, to have his van outside all day, every day.).
Road works are ongoing so the traffic lights are outside too. Making the parking even worse.
    Right enough, sorry, rant/moan over.
I have not heard from the kids for a whole 24 hours, oo no, 36!
I am supposed to go and collect twin1 for her usual Tuesday contact today. We will see how I feel during the day. Her being here, is not necessarily help. Molly would explain.!.
Making my lists again in my Date diary. (not my journal where they usually get buried>)> Hopefully they will give me a focus to do.
I will ask my Dad to text me the whereabouts of thier holiday this week, and have a look at google. See if I can see where they are.
They do not come home until September, so I will have to wait for the conversation until then.
Had to take £200 out of my ISA to top up the bills account. Which means that I have to look at the budget again, before I do much else. Its obviously gone completely out the window. oops.

My Horoscope for today.L-Tuesday, Jun 21st, 2011 -- You may have recently lost any objectivity that you had, yet today your daydreams can run into some cold, hard truths of reality. Unfortunately, you don't want to leave your fantasies behind, but the longer you avoid your obligations, the more of a challenge it will be to face them in the long run. Starting your work now is smarter than procrastinating any longer.

    Think thats me told then!
Sewing today as well as a todo list as long as my arm.

Maybe so, but the cash itself has gone to the twins as you wrote the other day- hundreds of pounds a month. Just like you, money can't be in two places at once.
I hope the parking gets easier, small children are like eels - gone in a flash. When my nephew was DGD's age and stayed with us he was far too 'butch' to wear reins, but very happy to have a dog lead clipped to whatever he was wearing, so that's what we used. It's a wonder we didn't get reported to the NSPCC and the RSPCA ;)
Could you make DGD a very girly wristband with metre of 'lead' that you can hang onto? I know Mothercare sells the proper thing, but no point in buying one if it's only needed for a short time.
Would it be useful to talk to the physiotherapist that you saw about the best position to have your sewing machine and lappy?
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

    All good points, Errata.
I will be explaining and then putting back in action the NO word. Look at the budget, and work on what I have better.
Re DGD I only just gave her reins to another mother at the Nursery Yesterday. They wouldnt go anywhere near DGD, she is so big for her age.
I dont fear her being so wriggly. She walks well, and for long distances. ITs the fact that we have cars mounting the pavements all over the place being opposite the doctors and chemist. Also we are on a bus route. So thats the worries.

I no longer have access to the original Physio, and I am awaiting to hear from the local doctors who have put in a referal to the physio departments.

I have sewn for an hour, and the pain is back. So I have stopped. Cup of tea. HEat pad around the neck.
Molly is hoping to visit at lunchtime. So I hope that I will get at least a few of the wallets I started to make finished. Maybe I will sew a few buttons on a few things. Disappointed that the pain is back so soon.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.
  • Mooloo there is a book called Co Dependent No More which explains boundaries of continuining to help people who don't help themselves and the pay off for you etc and it helps people cope with stopping most of the help and dragging themselves down too. May be worth a read to keep you strong and identify some of the reasons you do as much as you do (besides the obvious reasons of their disabilities).

Do you know who wrote it? I will have a google and see if I can find it. I am willing to learn from any such help I can. I know that they rely on me, becuase i keep helping. I know that its in my nature to help. (took in battered wifes and other people with troubles in my earlier life too).

Mooloo, why not contact the local council to ask about having an 'H' on the road in front of your home - you may need support from your GP and physio but then you should not be troubled as much and you can rightfully ask anyone parking there to shift. Don't forget, that nobody has the right to park on the street outside one's own home but if you have a driveway it should be kept clear.

Not sure that I am bad enough for that. But I will ask. Certainly keep it in mind.
I cannot afford to turn the front garden into a parking area, as it would cost £1,500 for the council to do the pavement alone.
Alas thats not in the Mooloo budget yet.

(I dont mind but he has a drive and a parking area, double garage and enough space for 5-6 cars, so its just sear bloody awkwardness!). I realised that I dont have the rights to the space, but common sense would tell him that it would be better to have my car nearer to the house for myself and DGD!. Alas no sense. Anyway, I am trying not to worry about it, and leave it be. But its annoying. He isnt useing it. Its been parked up since Friday.

My sewing is not going very well. Not happy with it, and the lamifax stuff isnt quite right yet. I will have to have another go.
    :D

Hi Mooloo, is the neighbour approachable to ask if he wouldn't mind moving his van if you explain the difficulties it's causing you?

On the subject of your pain - I'm not entirely sure as to the cause of it but guessing from the medication you take that it possibly involves some inflammation of either muscle or joints? Has anyone ever suggested to you to apply ice rather than heat at these times to help reduce the inflammation? Apologies if I've got it totally wrong.
