Good[STRIKE] morning [/STRIKE]ooops, afternoon
I've been busy decluttering and DD has had the lappy-t to write a submission for her Uni application which needs to be in by Tuesday

I first saw it mentioned on the OS Flylady thread, and I didn't need it explaining to me eitherLove the last line of your sig, btw :T
I've chucked out 2 lever arch files of stuff from an old job (which I left when I had DD, and she's 18 soon) and emptied the top cupboard of the press in the sitting room. I'm going to hoover and wipe that thoroughly before replacing what needs to go back, and then starting on the next cupbaord down. Hoping to have an empty cupboard to start putting away kitchen equipment for when DD goes away in the autumn

Wow, my noticeboards look great and DH only swore once!
Sun is shining here today and we are very motivated. Won't be much leaving the house today but what's here will be super-organised!
When I went to my friend's house yesterday, she has all her ribbons (for craftwork) hung vertically on the back of her cupboard door in glorious technicolour (there are a couple of bands horizontally to stop them flapping. It would make a great photo. That burst of colour is so inspiring - it has really made me want to be creative.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Decided my orderly method of going through the back bedroom shelves in order, wasn't going to hit my target, so attacked washbags and makeup bags for some "quick wins"!
To CS bag - 5 free genealogy CDs, 5 unused makeup/toiletries
To bin - finished hand cream, mouthwash, old mascara, eye cream, hairband, serum, cleanser, moisturiser, charity brooch, lipgloss, 2 lipcare, broken bag for recycling carrier-bags.
To recycling - bookmark, 6 software handouts

2 bags of rubbish in bin
4 bags of clothes put aside for charity shop - hope we get an age concern bag soon
1 massive bag of paper awaiting shredding
20 magazines in recycling bin.
Still can't see much difference to be honest which is a bit depressing.
Need to order a chest of drawers and two new bedside tables to make a big difference in bedroom, it will be our first new furniture since we moved in in 2002, so trying to not feel guilty about spending the money.0 -
Managed to get rid of 9 bags of rubbish that have been piled out the back since before Christmas, some cardboard to be recycled and a broken kids plastic kitchen. Then quite by accident have started sorting through big cupboard that the boiler is in, while looking for something. Have been really ruthless with old letters, cards etc and it feels good!! xIf music be the food of love then play on"No matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow". ღ ~Maya AngelouDoing it for my kids. Had a tidy of 4 kitchen cupboards. Not much has been throw away. Bits and pieces for the bin and few things for the charity.
And now due to me being clumsy I now need to buy a new cafeteria dropped something on my while it was on the floor waiting to go back in the cupboard
Now just the larder to do :j That at can wait for another day.
On wards and upwards.
