Hi All - Well I've managed to get rid of loads of the free DVD's that come with the Sunday papers on freecycle (didn't bother to count!) also put a few other things on - a patio trolley & table - Gone! (more room in the Garage) I also put a covered cat litter tray (that my snooty puss didn't like) & a pretty mirror on the free ads - both sold so that's a tenner in the pot & more space!! I'm now looking round to see what else I can get rid of
Hubby did find an old flight case type briefcase in the garage but no one wanted it so I've cleaned it up with liquid shoe polish - looks like new! & I'm going to put all the 'important' documents in it there so if ever there is an emergency we know what to grab!

Hi Moonflower - welcome to the thread.
I don't know what stuff you have in your conservatory but here are a few suggestions:
1. Spend 15 minutes trying to find anything that is rubbish or recycling and get rid of it in the recycling boxes/bin, if there is lots of things in there that can go like this do 15 minutes every day this week - aim for 20 things each time or something similar.
2. If there is stuff in there you want to keep but doesn't belong there get a box and put things in that ready for rehoming and then go and rehome them/give them to others they belong to.
3. If there is stuff that you don't want to keep but is sellable decide if you want to charity shop, ebay, car boot or a combination of these. If it's charity shop pop things in a bag or box ready to take with you next time you go to the shops - again maybe aim for 20 things each time. If it's ebaying you want to do try and list 5 -10 things each time, I'm an awful one for listing loads and then getting mega stressed when I need to package loads of things up.
4. Post your achievements on here - it's great to hear how everyone's done and we all shares tips on how to get rid of things!Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000
