The Great Declutter Part 3 - 2011

Have added 4 glasses that are surplus to requirements to the charity bag, as well as a couple of really old plastic cups (from when my younger son was little - he's nearly 16 now!) to the bin.
Might be popping into town this afternoon, to take a moniter to CEX to sell. I also have some books I borrowed from someone to return.Enjoying the power and freedom of letting things go.

Did a little bit more last night, tidied out a couple of magazine racks - recycled a massive (a foot high) pile of old magazines and newspaper articles (How To Get A Bikini Body In Four Seconds-type articles) dating as far back as 1999  and managed to tidy away my recent Good Food and Sew mags which WILL come in useful.
I've brought the last of the charity bags into work to drop off at lunchtime and also have about 7 old pairs of glasses - I have a feeling my optician may take donations to go to Africa or something? And I've also brought a pair of trousers which need a new zip to go to the mending place. I haven't worn them in three years but I do love them and will never get around to attempting to fix them myself so it's worth the £8 I think!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Oh, what was your DH doing with a blouse and nail varnish, lol!
I am still waiting for my brother to help move out the filing cabinet and shelves, grrr.
He has found a few boxes of my stuff in my parents' loft that he wants to bring over, double grrr as I want to get organised before bringing anything else in to be sorted.
Decluttering not going well, neither is work, nor is baby. (The latter because DH won't just leave her and go).:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
I've made about £40 on Ebay so far and I still have a few things to sell!
I need to declutter my desk tonight (in order to do some job applications), use brown parcel paper to wrap up any Ebay items to be posted tomorrow and take some items to the CS on the way into town today.
Yesterday I emptied the storage files and put all its contents into a blue bag ready for recycling. They were all teaching magazines which I no longer need and can get rid of.
Competition Wins:
Glee Goodie Bag!
