I absolutely love de-cluttering and have given away lots of things I no longer need or want in recent months.
It's such a good feeling to know you're helping others and I always feel better knowing nothing's out of place in my home.
It's amazing what you can gather over the years, filled black bags full of things!0 -

I don't think it matters, tattycath - as long as the stuff is going out, it's all good :j
When I was getting dressed this morning, I was looking through my wardrobe and 'rejecting' stuff - and when I thought hard about it, it was because something just didn't feel 'right' when I wore it, or was uncomfortable. So over the next few weeks, I'm going to identify these things, and put them in the charity shop bag. I can't do it all in one go, for some reason, it only becomes clear to me when I am thinking 'I could wear that .... oh, no, not that because it's xxxxx'!! :rotfl: Sounds a bit mad, but then, that's me!
So today, I've identified another cardigan for the charity shop!Enjoying the power and freedom of letting things go.

Yes, you're right-as long as we achieve the ultimate objective.
You're not alone with your thoughts re, clothes-I do that too. I find it difficult to sort clothes out in my wardrobe and drawers, until i come to choose something to wear. I shall follow your lead and sort my clothes out this week. The clothes i sorted last night and today were clothes i had originally bagged up to sell and decided to send them to charity instead-got so much to get rid of.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

I list it in a way that doesn't hold me up from the actual decluttering. So some days, just getting rid of a couple of things motivates me, but on days when we have to catch the recycling centre or charity shop while it's open, it's better to say 'bags'.
My DD is under a year old and I miss being able to just hop in the car and go with DH to take the stuff. I know we still can, but it's a hassle to ensure we have what DD needs with us. It means that decluttering is a bit of a chore as it has lost its sponteneity. DH is grumpy today. I thinks he's feeling that he isn't getting enough me time. There's some I can do on my own.
I did find some cheap boxes on the Argos website so I can store some legal paperwork that I need to. I looked in the moving house bit. I am fussy, as I like 'clean' boxes rather than reusing old mismatched stuff. So this is a good compromise and I have an argos gift voucher that I can use for it.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

I think they'll be okay sizewise and they're stackable.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

I had some boxes like that (DH brought them home from work) and they are very good for paperwork.Enjoying the power and freedom of letting things go.
