Lots of de-cluttering happened - another MSEr who is also a stitcher came over for a pub lunch, went through my stitching stash and took most of it! (I can't stitch anymore), so I reckon this weekend I can list the 4 drawer set on freecycleDo not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Well I managed to get my 30 done in one fell swoop, I can no longer do cross-stitch so another MSEr came over yesterday (had lunch at the pub with me first) and she took most of my stash away with her :j:j:jDo not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Not managed to get a great deal done this week due to the gale force winds and rain like stair rods! I have cleaned the house this morning (well, bathroom, downstairs loo, kitchen and swept the stairs) but made the mistake of going into DD's bedroom. She hasn't even hoovered it yet and it's disgraceful again. Clothes dumped everywhere including a pair of shool trousers on her bed. She has never even worn these so why the heck are they out?
She's going to get an awful shock when she gets home and I won't let her do her homework until she's tidied her room (again) and actually hoovered. I need the hoover downstairs but I'm not lugging it down, then up and then down again for heavens sake. She has also been fined £1 of her pocket money for leaving her brownies box by the front door. I have spent 2 years telling her every day not to leave it by the door/ on the sofa/ wherever she's dumped it and I'm fed up of it. She had one warning last night so now it's an instant fine.
I have piled up all of her other stuff which she has left lying around the house and put it in her place at the table. She's not going to be able to eat tea until that's put away either.
It's so annoying, she's the eldest and DS is so much less untidy than her. We get on to him for being idle but when he has to do his bedroom, he doesn't appear to have mountains of crap stuffed into bags within bags etc. His is a case of putting everything away. DD actually put a school uniform in the wash basket on Sunday. The day before going back to school after 6 weeks off! I nearly blew my stack about that! Grubby little mare.
Right, TD's finished so I can fold and put away 3 loads of washing (oh how exciting!).
