Haven't posted for a while, but I lurk a lot for inspiration.
Am aiming for recycling/binning 100 things over the coming long weekend......think most of it will be from my wardrobe
I've 'said' it now so will have to stick to it!

Hi
My kitchen's looking a lot better. I'm trying to keep the worktops clear, put away the washing up and not just leave stuff on the kitchen table. Next is the fridge and the floor.Sealed Pot Challenge No 089-Finally got a signature.:rotfl::j0 -
I've re-organised my wardrobe today - put the hanging shelves in and have folded tops/jumpers/nightwear and scarves onto these.
I've freed up some space in the airing cupboard and one drawer, but still have another three drawers of clothes to sort out in the spare room (these are my don't quite fit or don't have anything to go with clothes, so will be firm with myself and get rid of some of these!)
Found a cardigan, jacket and two pairs of shoes to go to the charity shop and also returned three books to my sister.
Tomorrow will be going through spare room clothes (as above) and meal planning for next two weeks to try and get some space back in the pantry! Have charged the camera battery, so will also take pictures of spare room and pantry to post up!0 -
I love this thread and hope I'm not too late to join. My flat seriously needs a declutter and I've vowed to put at least one item on ebay every day to combat this. That way I'll be decluttering as well as making some inroads on my debts :j
A trip to the charity shop will also help with creating more room as well as helping out a worthy cause. I might even pluck up the courage to do a car boot sale!Barclaycard £3000

Hello all, I have had a lazy few days due to lack of motivation.I did however, throw some items in a black bag as the binmen were due today :rotfl:Cannot change my mind as they have now been and gone. Will try to do at least one drawer from the kitchen today as that room is nearly complete with decluttering.I am one who has to take each day as it comes or else i will feel a failure.I am good at negative thinking
When i look back to even a week ago, I do realise i have actually done quite well. I know this because i can now see the dust, This time last week something was on top of it!! Have a good day everyone.x“Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. Your really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.” Lucille Ball.0 -
It's a great feeling to see dust isn't it Elaine? Just think how far you've come
you'll get there soon. My house is a mess and I've got loads of people coming round tomorrow for a barbecue. I'm rebelling and not cleaning up any more because I keep doing it and the others keep messing it up. I don't feel too well either and I would prefer not to be ill tomorrow as I know I can't have a lie in.
Off to town in a tick to try and get food. Probably need to get wrapping paper too and a birthday card because DH will have forgotten them and the kids will be upset. Oh well, bin day tomorrow so I'll get everything unpacked before the bin men come so the rubbish can go straight outDebt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -

Morning all
We found out yesterday that our credit check has gone through for the new house that we wanted to rent. Hurray! Moving date is the 6th May but for a couple of weeks we will have 2 houses. I will de-clutter and pack today and for the rest of the weekend. Our bin is full though so cannot actually throw anything away. Apart from packing I am aiming to continue to sort out my paperwork. During this week I shredded credit card bills from 1998, don't know why I kept them for so long.
Happy Birthday Kaz, hope you have a great time today. No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23

Welcome Fedup...
Probably won't be joining in on the Challenge this weekend - (although an empty cs bag is waving to me...). My absolute priority is to make a start on that bedroom floor - even if I just manage the preparation stage - in fact THAT is my goal for the weekend.
Update:
