I have no doubt that he has thicker skin than a rhino, so your comment is falling on deaf ears, I suspect.

I placed an order with OHBC on 22/1/12 after checking them out on the untrustworthy Trustpilot. I'll come to MSE Forums next time! They were advertising free delivery on orders over £55 but as I went through the checkout £2.95 was added on. I sent them a query which was promptly replied to saying they couldn't offer free delivery with the current low price and when I checked the website they'd removed mention of free delivery! I knew then what sort of a company I was dealing with. I then saw stuff that was labeled in-stock when I ordered continually going out of stock, in transit etc. as per everyone else. I decided not to raise my blood pressure by entering into correspondence with them and waited. And waited. And waited. And then, after 5 weeks, I got my delivery - complete and as ordered.
They act as though they have cash flow problems - I certainly won't go near them again.

Oh My God..........If only I had read the comments on this forum sooner. I have used this company three times, the first time all ok apart from courier company where I had to collect from Croydon (20 miles away from me). 2nd time, items went out of stock after ordering and took 2 weeks to come. However, third time, order placed in early January, all items fluctuated between being in stock and being out of stock for 5 weeks and then part of the order arrived after six. I got the impression that every time I complained by the deliberately difficult "contact us" email system that I was just making my wait longer by someone who held a grudge to complaints. So, holding my breath I am just waiting for the outstanding order before making sure that they know I will never use them again.
However, I now find I can not log into my account to see what distant future delivery date is now attached to my last part order. Is anyone else experiencing this, can they block me like this, do I give up all hope of ever seeing the goods I have paid for ??

Ineedadvice I think they are doing pretty much what they like.
I didn't get any of my order but got a chargeback from my bank.
Keep trying to get into your account as this morning I couldn't get the website and I thought they'd gone but it's back now so maybe your problem is only temporary, that said whether your goods turn up is another matter.Good luck :)

If you have any friends that are into HomeBrewing please pelase please let them know about this company, they really need to be shut down.

@walp - just goes to show that they can do instant refunds (like any company can) . I guess buy saying it will take 10 days means they keep hold your money for longer (than they already have) and they may get the funds together to be able to purchase from Muntons.

    Total scum outfit!

Hi, just wanted to let you all know that I placed an order Friday lunchtime and have just received it, hows that for service!!! I got it from balliihoo.co.uk

I did check with them with regard to stock, and they assured me that everything was in stock, they dont sell anything that they dont have on the shelf!! Perhaps the "OTHER" company ought to take a leaf out of this company's book!!!!

How refreshing!!!! give them a go!

    Cheers!

Wow that is impressive to order on a Sunday and delivered on a Monday, lol. I have used Brewuk many times now over the past 8 months, great site and helpful staff.
