Just hammer the "the write a recommendation" on Facebook, not sure though if mine can be seen.

I can't see ANY negative recommendations on there bar my own one, so I guess they have a choice whether to show them.

Interesting that only 9 out of 119 recommendations are visible to me, though...

I wish I could find out how to remove me from their friends activity page:mad:
My comment made back in October makes it look like I'm still happy, because they've blocked me I can't take it off and the negative comments I made recently were removed along with hubbys contribution.
    Frustrating !

I dunno macma, but you could contact the advertising standards authority and tell them that they are using your review as an advert even though you have since written negative reviews and gotten banned for it.

The ASA really need to get on to these people, they treat forums, facebook and twitter like it is there own little area to publish and edit what they like. It is about time someone took there threats of libel for posting negative remarks and spun it around on them using the ASA.

We have all been going on at trustpilot ect when it is truely the ASA we should have been complaining too. They have been known to hand out some shocking fines to companies that ignore them.

Just looking on the ASA site now, they have a 5 step online complaint process so nice and easy. Will be filling this out.

    Cheers

Well, the idiot Damon has got problems if the ASA look at him, he has admited that he falsely advertises that stuff is in stock when it is not...

To ensure our customers are aware that delivery may take some time we state in every promotional email and on the website that delivery may take up to 28 days (all promotional material prior to Christmas stated 6 weeks).
    ......
blah blah blah... blah blah blah... more blah blah and then...
    ......
Stock on the shelf at the time you place your order is not important to us... It's stock available at the time when we expect to pack and dispatch that is. For example, if you place an order this afternoon, we need the stock in place tomorrow so we can pick it.

That is surely an admitance of false advetising. He is admiting he advertises stuff as "in stock" when he admits to us in this post that what he actually means is "expected in 6 weeks time". Lets not mess about with what has gone here though, almost everyone here waited the 28 days and then got brassed off by the fact that there stuff kept being pushed back another week. Week after week.

If you have already posted to the ASA then it is probably worth following it up and pointing this out too. The more people that do the more chance it will get looked at.

I think it is a given that all of us complaining here felt we were mislead by the "in stock" statements, and the "expected in 2 - 3 days" messages that actually meant 2 - 3 months if you don't cancel and go somewhere else first. Actually it is probably worth sending that post and all the emails you have had from this company to the ASA. Let them deal with them.

It is about time companies learned that the internet is not a place where they can say whatever they like to get a sale. It has to be true and it can not be misleading. Thems the rules.
  • I see the TrustPilot reviews are back up.

Suspect 5* reviews from: Judy Burgess, Denis haigh, Jon H, David Rodriguez lol Looks like Damon cant even be bothered to reply to the bad ones now.

Good to see it's up and running again. I'll actually bother sending my order screen shots over now.

I'll be sure to write an accurate, in depth and balanced review for you Damon - don't you worry.:rotfl:

It'll be along the lines of the review for Spinal Tap's "Shark Sandwich"... repeated many, many, many times in different variations.

Oh and I'll have a crack at the ASA thing too.
