    “SIMPLY THE BEST
verry very good service.ordered late tuesday evening recieved thursday morning at 11-30 am. every thing was present and correct, recieved emails telling you package was on its way. then a follow up email after it arrived. wish everything was this smooth.will defently re order from them again.”

Just had a look on TP, that review was put up a few weeks ago in the middle of everything kicking off.

Did anyone else ever get a call from TP ?

They asked for my number which I emailed to them, never got a call though......

Agree with Moley on their scoring system, 1 star should mean 1 star

Living in the locality of Southend, I'd never heard of these people. I tend to use the brew shop in Westcliff. It's small and not cheap, but he's got everything in stock on the shelves and handy for advice and recommendations. He does mail order too.

Business is picking up a bit for him during the recession. Give him a call if you're local - http://www.beersunlimited.co.uk/

Another unhappy customer on their forum, bet this wont last long.....:

Board index ‹ Social, News, Chat etc. ‹ Have A Rant....

    Swing Top Bottles

"I don't know if any of the admins or anyone else on this website works for the online-homebrew-company, but I'm disgusted at the lack of customer service I've received from them since January. I orderd some Grolsch style swing top bottles, which their supplier never delivered, despite the reassurances on the order status that they were in transit from their main warehouse. they then cancelled their supply a few days ago and emailed that those affected could get a refund. Since then, every message I send them gets ignored.

This is completely unacceptable for a company, it's one thing to ignore queries about delivery dates, which I know they are renowned for, but quite another when they have my money that they have no right to keep.

I've just spoken to my bank to get them to retreive the funds back directly, and apparently they have been receiving high numbers of calls about this company today. The guy I spoke to said they are accelerating this issue due to the amount of grievances. I do hope they get their act together soon."

Love the reply from this guy:

"There's a post relating to these matters - it reads that they wont comment on customer issues openly on the forum and that the forum/company are independant of each other - not commenting on whether this is the right way of going about things, just how it is.

All my dealings so far have been positive, though not exactly smooth sailing to start with - but I will continue to deal with them (just with a little more of "learn-ed" attitude to certain aspects)

Sorry to hear about your issues tho - hope they're resolved soon"

Reading the above I feel that its going to end in tears once he spends a few more quid with these coyboys.

Basically making sure it was my account, along with a few other questions. I made sure to let them know though about how BIY are being run. I'd sent them a copy of my order page before hand and I'd also posted a picture of my online "help" page.
They're not that stupid to think that it was all a set up by a competitor. I think they were trying to cover themselves a bit, didn't want to be caught up in the middle of a sting ( by us ) Unfortunately the sting was going the other way.
