Hurrah!
Just phoned Sonycard. I have been credited with the extra pulsebeats and they are to send an MP3 within 28 days!
I would urge you to call them as they don't necessarily let you know when they've given you the points.0 -
Had letter from Sonycard today confirming 8200 points, enclosed was a rewards brochure. Phoned to order mp3 player and told would arrive within 28 days. hopefully in time for xmas0

I rang sony this afternnon and she confirmed the points had been added, not sure if the 200 from MBNA are extra so i will wait and check my next statement. See what I end up with.0

I got my 1st SONY credit card statement a few days ago.
As like most of you it stated i got 2011 pts, i spent 11 quid on the card.
I rang MBNA on (0800 062062) 2 days after i paid my statement and went to the rewards section. The automated voice staed i had got 8211 pts to spend (Yippee!).
I then rang 0870 036 2444 (Sonys reward centre) and redeemed my points for a SONY MP3 Flash Player : code (E-C04-1153).
You need to have your SONY card details and product code number handy.
MP3 player to arrive within 28 days. Supprisingly the same day as im intending to close my SONY account. It doesnt cost anything to smile, yet when it occurs its priceless.0 -
Regarding the BMI 20K miles and the Citibank 20K miles promos
This thread discusses both and probably has answers to most questions raised here.
Look at my post #53 on page 3 to see what can be acheived.
Here's the link to the thread I posted in January 2006
The BMI card promo works fine (it's still current )and I'm on my fourth card now.
Usually it takes about 3-4 weeks to receive the letter from BMI stating you have qualified for the 20K miles (if you've spent 1p in the first week) in which it tells you your BMI Diamond club number.
Citibank offer of 20K has closed and I'm waiting to see if they award me the extra 10K after the intial 10K.
It's my third card;)

This one is for those with a Asda petrol station close by. Fill your car up with 50 litres thats £1 saved = £52 in still my bank account each year.
https://www.gecapitalbank.co.uk/asda/asda-cards-benefits.html
0% on purchases for six months, as I normally pay cash for fuel. I can get the interest on that money still sitting in my account until the they want to start charging 16.8% interest (but paying the min req'd back each month)
No annual fee.
Applying today.0 -
Or you could use GE Money Card and get back 3p for every £1 spent on food and petrol. Would work out better than the ASDA Card which is still a good deal.
Incidentally does anyone know how you get your Amazon Vouchers from the card. It says it wi;;; be sent to your registered email address - but I only registered online after the statement had come and the voucher had been issuedWycombe Till I Die0 -
Followed the links and applied for the SonyCard. No problems, very quick response. After purchase and on receipt of statement the promised 8200 pulsebeats were not added, only 2000! When asked, I was told that they knew nothing about the promotion. Sharp practise or what? I'm bloody minde enough to now chase this up and will definitely bin the credit card when solved to my satisfaction.0

don't apply for the sony card if you want an mp3 player, i clicked on the link and signed up, used the card on the day after it arrived but i didn't get the 8,200 points required for the mp3 player, all i got was a measely 2,000. would cancel if not for the interest free period upto feb 07.0
