Apologies if this is elsewhere. I got convinced into getting a cc at Luton airport this year - free pair of binos. It was called the suite card issued by some Spanish Bank - www.thesuitecard.co.uk

Anyway they gave me 1200 hotel points aswell. I assumed this would get virtually nothing, but I have just booked two nights in Budapest B & B for 2 people - 3 star and central. Not bad for a five pound spend.

    Hope this helps
  • Yay, received a letter today saying I'd spent enough to be eligable for the £50 voucher and a code with instructions on how to order the voucher online. I had a choice of which voucher I wanted (I ordered an Asda voucher - will spend it on the weekly shopping then keep the equivilent cash to spend as and where I want).

My voucher is ordered and hopefully will be here after Christmas.

    Thanks for the tip Martin

While I'm here got my Sony statement today and only 2000 and odd points instead of 8200 and the mini spend to get my mp3 player so straight on the phone to MBNA.I know they changed the offer due to high demand but I was in early and i do have my welcome letter with activate and use within 90 days and you will get 8200 points so insisted politely, you wouldn't believe how many times I had to correct the SA on points total." so thats 820 points you think you should have?" NO "So 2000?" NO In the end I said I want 8200 points to get my MP3 player, I have no idea how to use one but I'm looking forward to finding out.

JD Sports store card gave me 10% off new purchases. Payed it off within 56 days at 0% and then cancel.

Amazon credit card, still to send my signature off so still waiting to confirm. Wanted the missus to do it but it seems her credit is poor.
