As like most of you it stated i got 2011 pts, i spent 11 quid on the card.
I rang MBNA on (0800 062062) 2 days after i paid my statement and went to the rewards section. The automated voice staed i had got 8211 pts to spend (Yippee!).
I then rang 0870 036 2444 (Sonys reward centre) and redeemed my points for a SONY MP3 Flash Player : code (E-C04-1153).
You need to have your SONY card details and product code number handy.
MP3 player to arrive within 28 days. Supprisingly the same day as im intending to close my SONY account.
Thanks for this - I followed your advice & now my MP3 player is on it's way!!0 -

This doesn't seem to have been given much covearge. Looks like a decent deal. 3000 nectar poimnts is equivalent to roughly 2 cd's.
Any one else with hands on experience of this AMEX card would be good to hear from.0 -
I too am waiting for my Sony stuff, a CD Player with MP3 and Radio in this case. Taking flipping ages the bunch of slowcoaches - must be 28 days soon.
Can anyone who has got something tell me how it's delivered (Royal Mail/Courier etc)Wycombe Till I Die0 -

How long in general should it take.
I have rang the numbers given but i just get fobbed off. the hbos helpline at first said they were in the post. i rang amazon who told me they would be e-mailed.
I e-mailed customer service who told me it was a loyalty programme and i had to get 1500 points...
What a hullaballoo.

3 free bottles of "quality" wine when you take out a First Direct credit card and use it 7 times (plus entry into some competition). Not a great offer but better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. Details at the bottom of this page.
As for the small print:This promotion applies to Credit and gold cards only and does not apply to Classic Card. This offer does not apply if you are an existing first direct credit cardholder, you are converting from any existing first direct credit card or you have closed a first direct credit card within the last 365 days. Additional cardholders do not qualify for this incentive. Your wine will be supplied by Direct Wines Ltd, trading as Laithwaites. Your wine will be sent to you within eight weeks following the end date of 30 April 2007. Entry into the prize draw will happen automatically, if your credit card application is approved and a card account is opened. See prize draw terms and conditions for full details.0 -

A few months back martin had a link to a 5000 free nectar points.I took out an amex nectar card, but later found i had exhausted ways of getting good value from the points(mainly Adams childrenswear offer). If you redeemed 3000 points instore(not ideal) you would get for example £30 spend in sainsburys.0 -
