can any one suggest me one card, which suits for the people who got even the worst crdit history, andcan be approved...

So I applied before Christmas and have received my card today and activated it.

However, on reading the Welcome booklet that came with the card, it states that in order to get a £15 Amazon gift certificate, I need to get 1500 points. These can be obtained at a rate of 1 point for every pound spent on the Amazon website or 0.5 point for every pound spent elsewhere.

In other words I need to spend £3000 elsewhere to get my £15 voucher.

Am I confusing these loyalty points scheme with the £25 voucher Martin referred to above ie will the £25 voucher be on its way as soon as I spend one pound?

I think so. I used an Amazon card in exactly the way Martin suggested, and got my voucher very easily. Be aware that it comes as an email with a code, so be careful that it doesn't get lost in your Spam filter.

I got the card too and have made a purchase and as of yet - no voucher emails.
I called Amazon customer services & they said I had to make a purchase on AMAZON before they'd send me the £15 voucher and the £10 voucher would be emailed to me (althought to be honest, she didn't seem to know a lot about this).
Is that where you made your purchase - Amazon?
I told her that it didn't say this at time of applying for card and she said it was a mistake on the website. Now without causing offence, she didn't seem to know much about it at all so I'm not sure if I can believe this.
Anybody any comments/similar experiences?
I'm pretty sure they'd have to honour what was originally written don't you think?

I got the sony card as per martin and also a fotoball one to get hubby a new BWFC shirt. Now I have got the freebies can I cancel them so quickly or is there small print which says I have to keep it for a while or give my goodies back?

Has anyone else applied for the Sony Card as Mark advised on GMTV offering a free MP3 player only to find that even if they have spent on the card they only recieve sony points?

Is this right or should I be going to Sony to complain?

Would really appreciate some help on this

I got the Mp3 player. If you read through this thread ( the earlier pages) there is some advice on what to do.

Have you paid off the amazon credit card as well? I think you have to make a purchase, then pay off the credit card in full, and then you get your voucher. I phoned them when I got my card and they said this was the case, but didn't say anything about the purchase having to be on amazon, so I think the person you spoke to may have got that wrong.
