I signed up for the Sonycard from the supplied link, got the credit card through and did some shopping on Saturday. Checked my statement today and only 2,000 points plus Saturday's spend. I feel a bit disappointed since this is the first time I've signed up to anything from this site.
Has anyone else had better luck?0 -
Hi,
Is it too late to apply for the BMI Classic Matercard and get the free miles offer? Has anyone applied for this and received their due free miles as yet?
I notice no ones replied to Grant2407 ('I've made a purchase now using my BMI credit card. How do I book my free flight?')
Any help/tips much appreicated - really hope to get a cheap flight to Vegas and see a good friend who I haven't seen in 6 years,
Cheers!

P.s. I've now applied for the BMI card and know how to book a flight via the Diamond Club scheme. I'm just concerned, will I actually see these free miles? The original credit card freebies article states 'BMI has confirmed in writing that this will be honoured'...is there anyone out there who has actually done this and received the miles?0

I did exactly the same, I spent £22 at the weekend and just checked points which were 2022 so I decided a phone call was in order.
They were very helpful and explained that the account has to cycle ! which means you have to spend, which I have, they have to issue statement and then points added.
However they issued my statement yesterday so he couldn't explain why the points were not showing.
I read out the clause from the website (luckly I remembered to print it) that took my application stating that use your card in 28 days of account being open and your account will be credited with 8200 pulse beats etc.
He could not give an answer and has refered it to the marketing team so I now must wait upto 5 days for them to contact me. ( I'll give them till Friday then call again) .
he did tell me though the 2000 points are credited when account activated.
I want my 8200 points and will call them until I get a satifactory explanation . Lets wait and see, hopefully it will all be ok got to give them a chance, :rolleyes:0 -

I've heard nothing yet myself either so I can only presume that we'll have to wait for our 1st statement to see if there is anything there. Its a bit worrying that I haven't seen any mention of the free miles other than what has been stated on this website. :think:0 -

hiya on the sony card- where does it show my points? I have not received a statement yet but I have enrolled online.
Thanks0 -
Hi tee pee,
on the mbna website, after you have spent something on the card, there is a statements tab. You should be able to see your November statement there and this should show the points.
In my case, just over 2,000.0 -
Trail Magazine have teamed up with MBNA to provide a card too
The freebie, if you like this kind of thing, is a £60 camping stove if you spend £200 before February 7th 2007
there is also 3 months interest free on purchases and 12 months interest free on balance transfers [which costs 2% of balance]
dunno what the std interest rate is yet though
happy saving !0 -
You have to collect 1500 points before you get your £15 voucher. Each point is worth £1 so that means you have to spend £1,500 to get back £15.0
